I'm trying to get my hands on a 1972 Dodge Dart with a 225 slant six. I found a 2-dooor Swinger with the 225 slant 6 on Craig's List for $1,500, but unfortunately don't have the cash for it right now. I always loved Darts & Valiants. By the way, nice car. Keep it! It'll run forever.
Well the two barrel carb is kinda a upgrade in the one more must better world.Or just one cherry bomb muffler. Seriously though looks like a straight, clean and fun car.
sounds like you have a leaky manifold gasket. Luckily it's a simple fix (I'm talking about a small gasket between the intake manifold, and the exhaust manifold). If it's not that one, don't bother... it gets to be a big pain.

Your Gas mileage went lower or higher after you got installed the cherry bomb ?? ...... nice engine sound too.

clean car checking out your engine and sounds great did it come with a charcol canister mine is cranking but not starting have to get into it.

Check the timing chain and distributor for wear, if its having a problem bouncing all over when you check it with a timing light.
