- 71 duster procharger cutom built fuel injected slant six lifting the front wheel again! The best run to date is a 6.94 in the eighth mile. when the trans brake is installed and the car can leave on full boost it will lift both wheels for a greater distace! This car was completely built...Body Paint and drivetrain at SHARADON PERFORMANCE in hugo mn.

@80s90sForever1 The owner and builders are very proud with how the car turned out! The car is getting a trans brake soon so it can leave under full boost and lift both front tires!

/6 has a strong short block, like all mopar mills. all they ever need to run low ET's is to breathe free and/or add boost. for ppl wanting to know hp for this car, im sure there are calculators online where you fiqure the weight and drag time for a result..roughly, bc not knowing exact weight & rear gears in this cars case.

Pretty quick in the 1/8th. My fastest car I ever had did a 7.1@ 98mph in the 1/8th and that thing was scary on the street.

I want to do this! Is there ANY info you can give us Mopar nuts to get us on the path to slant six goodness? You'd be helping that little engine get a lot more love than it does. I know it's been quite a long time ago, but i had no idea I could run a slant that well. I have passed over a lot of 225 cars just because the Mopar V8 market got so expensive for a budget friendly build. Thx for the vid. Too cool!

@@buckykattguitar That is true but It sounds more like he is looking for budget upgrades, you can take a spring out of the distributor and gain some HP there, you can also get the 2bbl intake off a junkyard slant thats newer and go BBD carb, UTG has a ton of vids and he does everything on a budget, I am on a budget too or I would probably boost mine.

I think this one was bought new by the owner, when he was 19, drove his girlfriend around in it at the time, and has now build a dragcar out of it, with a turbocharger and other mods, to crank it up to 600 hp!!!!!!!!

Dude, PLEASE message me a cell number, add me, email me, something. lol I have a 1976 Plymouth Scamp with a 225 slant 6 already with headers and exhaust. I want to know what you did with this beast. I think you just convinced me to keep it too. lol Thanks a lot! You have also at the same time convinced me to spend more money! haha
I agree I'm 16 and I just bought 75' Swinger, initially I wanted to do a 340 swap but after seeing this I think i'll keep the slant 6.
I've got a 73 scamp, any updates on your build or if you still have the car?
the best i can recommend for u is to swap the heads for some 265 stealth hemi heads if they will fit. as for boost im gonna leave that to u
1/4 mile or nothing!! 1/8 mile is BS!!!
