Quick gripe with the DS3 critique, things are retreaded because its that world generations later coming to an end like the remnants of the once vibrant Anor Londo and the Smoldering Lake being the hellish end result of what became of the Lake of Ash. I loved it but to each his own, still love your videos man
Laid in bed and this video magically popped up. Cheers 🥂
Ranking AC6 so low hurt my feelings ☹️😂
Yeah, severely underrated game. Dude said “not very thought provoking” like damn, poor guy… never flew just out of reach I guess.
@@kcub07I'm not even watching this after reading that. AC6 is the most thought provoking game ever BY DEFINITION, it's story is insane and requires THOUGHT. some people man.
Don't care what people think, AC6 is the most polished fromsoft game ever made, the story, gameplay combat, performance of every multi platform, replay value is so much better than souls games
@@kcub07 In From fashion, it's as thought-provoking as you let it be. You can play the whole thing focusing on the pew pew bang bang and have a great time, ignoring the story - and you can look into how everything ties-together and appreciate the surprisingly rich narrative. If you skim it on the surface level, it does have something of a teen-oriented anime story vibe - especially with the voice acting style - but if you play the whole thing (all endings) and absorb all the supplemental bits, it's such a great whole. While it may not have the sheer amount of world or number of characters compared with this or that From title, I'd have to agree that it's one of the most if not the most polished of them all. Every inch of that game is lovingly spit-shined to perfection.
Im surprised that you said you didn't finish the ds3 dlc. Some of the bosses are some of the best in the entire series.
The actual fight along with the lore/setting of the Gael fight are top tier!
@@uberboomer8670 best boss period
Awesome video! I just finished God of war Ragnarok on give me no mercy difficulty.
I absolutely loved it! Great work on that game. I found it pretty challenging so I decided to give my first fromsoftware game a chance and picked up Elden Ring.
Thanks for the recommendation and I’m looking forward to getting my ass handed to me😅
i can understand your opinion but for me armored core 6 is number 1, been waiting for this as an ac and mech fan, and i just keep coming back to replay it another time.
God damn bro this studio, they really can't missed can they? After finishing Elden Ring which is in my opinion if not the best game ever made, at least the best of 10-15 years or something, now I am finally playing Armored Core 6 and again this might be the best shoot em up game ever.
Is X still hard in current year? Yes. Whatever X is, if it was hard the day it came out, it's hard today - whether we're talking about Ghosts N' Goblins, Demon's Souls, Sekiro, or Your Mom.
For me it's:
Sekiro
Bloodborne
Dark Souls 1
Elden Ring
Dark Souls 3
Demon's Souls
Dark Souls 2
I cannot understand this hate boner for DS2. Im convinced half of you haven't even played it and just jumped on the bandwagon. Its is the same league as Demon Souls at least and nearly as good as DS2
@@austin0_bandit05
I have played Dark Souls 2 on release day (PC), I have played scholar. I have 100% steam achievements on scholar, played it for +200 hours both pve challenge runs and pvp arena and invasions. I like playing the game but it's just not well made.
I personally have my fun playing it, I like the other games more but I can see why DS2 is fun for people.
It has a lot of issues in it's core starting with the general movement and advancing into more issues when you think about ADP, healing system, enemy AI, level design etc.
Many creators on RUclips basically summed up everything OBJECTIVELY wrong with the game, Matthewmatosis, Mauler, Feeble King, Dimitri Monroe to name a few. Even though some of them like Mauler like playing the game, but they can separate their feelings from the facts and I try to do the same.
Is this game absolute trash? No
Is this game worse than the other souls games in it's core? Yes
Is it still a good game? Hm kinda I guess, but let's say these games are pizzas, Dark Souls 2 might be a very low quality frozen pizza, but it's still pizza and I am much more likely to eat that compared to a pile of dogshit like Ubisoft games for example.
Summary: I like the game but it's not well made.

And yeah I agree that some people probably dislike it only from hearing about it being bad, but you can still dislike something just from !GOOD! reviews/analysis, but if you really want to have a very informed and solid opinion on something you should experience it for yourself.
@@austin0_bandit05 I have hundreds of hours in DS2, played vanilla on release day, same for scholar. I played PVP and PVE and I pretty much know every inch of the maps. I have 100% steam achievements too. I like the other games more but I have my fun playing DS2. Subjectively it's a fun game, but it has too many objective problems, not only compared to other souls games, but to other video games too.
And yeah there are probably people that only dislike it from hearing about how bad it is, but if the analysis they watched/read was good that is fine. Obviously if you want to have a solid opinion you need to play it for yourself.
DS2>DS1 imo
oof, suddenly realize AC4 FA ACV VD does not qualify as Modern.
would love to see you do a ranking of tokyo xtreme racer, imo most underrated gaming series and a hidden gem for racing lovers, not anything like it and they are pretty cheap, subbed if i see a txr video 😂
Hey man I love your videos can you please cover the Overlord series not the anime not the movie the overlords series games 😁
I hope so one day. I have them all I just really need to sit down and play them
For the love of God please do I am interested in your opinion of the series 😋
Sekiro
Elden Ring
DS3
AC6
Bloodborne
DS1
DS2
DeS
It hurt my soul to put Bloodborne that low
dw i put it down there too
Elden Ring 1 ✅✅
So great the best game ever for me
fr!
Sekiro =1
Meh, disliked because NO KING'S FIELDDDD
"Modern"
Er>ds3>bloodborne>sekiro>ds2>ds1>ac6>ds
I wish u can do this to tomb raider games if u played them
Same
Dark souls 2 is an abhorrent video game, not worth playing at all
Shut up 😭
It's the worst souls game cuz 1 had to be, but I'd still say it's better than most other games. It has plenty of issues but it's way more enjoyable than people give it credit for
Bloodborne is easily the greatest game of the ps4 generation and may very well be the greatest video game of all time. None of the other From Soft games are even in the same stratosphere.
trick weapons are literally amazing, but i still consider ds3 sekiro and ER much better, because outside of story and atmosphere, bloodborne too has its flaws
Yeah but bloodborne is horrible to play, 30 FPS and the bosses are dogshit cept for the DLC
@@337x i don't mind the 30fps, but you are right. Main game is awful boss-wise, DLC saved Bloodbotne
My ranking of the FromSoft Games I’ve played would be:
1. Elden Ring - 10/10
2. Dark Souls - 10/10
3. Bloodborne - 9/10
4. Sekiro Shadows Die Twice - 9/10
5. Dark Souls III - 8/10
6. Armored Core VI - 7/10
7. Demon’s Souls - 6/10
8. Dark Souls II - 4/10
The part of FromSofts games I enjoy the most are the worlds, level design, and secret bosses.
How is Dark Souls a 10/10 have you played the 2nd half of the game? What about the bosses? They're not even in the same league as DS3 or ER or even Bloodborne. And the combat is stiff and rigid. Didn't even have omnidirectional rolling. Seriously its of similar to DS2
Dark Souls is 8/10 bro 💀 no, it's 7/10 🙏
I'm sorry that the 10 button clearly stopped working for entries 4-6
Bloodborne feels way too overrated, every subsequent entry, ds3, sekiro, and elden ring does what it did but better, it has the lowest variety of enemies and its bosses aren't so great, the setting just carries it really hard. A lothric knight from dark souls 3 has a bigger moveset pool than martyr logarius for example.
Totally true
Setting carries it hard yes but that setting is like one of the best in any game ever. That’s what carries it and is my 2nd favourite behind Elden ring. There are still some great bosses though and the combat is probably the best in the series.
@@a..27stephenson setting is subjective. For me, it's my least favourite settings, below those of Dark Souls world, The Lands Between and Ashina.
The best combat? I fail to see how it's better than the fluid dynamic of Sekiro or crazy variety of Elden Ring combat styles.
@@AlexCatable yes I agree settings are subjective as most things are but most people agree that yharnam is the best setting. Sekiro is very close to sekiro in terms of combat I just prefer dodging to parrying, the trick weapons and guns to just the sword as well as the rally system being just amazing. As for it being worse than Elden rings combat I just value the base combat system over variety and that’s why I like bloodbornes combat better than Elden ring.
@@a..27stephenson no, most people do not agree about Yarnam or smth like this. Don't know where you got this, probably from the fact that BB fandom is the most loud.
The combat ...oh well, at this point we are clearly talking about personal preferences here, so let's just stop.
I like your rankings and all, but maybe dont do videos of same games over and over again.
i think making this lists unique in terms of games is really hard, because for 1 video you have to play all of the fromsoftware games (in this video scenario), so it literally would took months to make it, while doing so with games you already famillar is way easier
@@KarlitoMonte yes i understand that. But still, he has done Souls game list, Soulsborne list, maybe even third one in like 2 months :D Maybe just do this one list?
@@lasoliribelsson226 i hope so! Always looking forward for this guy content
May be he is just hooked on soulsborne games and having a blast with everything about them? I say, make more souls videos if you want to!
I would rank the souls games plus armored core 6 like this
1. Ds3
2. Bb
3. AC6
4. Ds2
5. Er
6. Ds1
7. Sekiro
8. Demons souls
Thas based
Seikro should be much higher
@@billythenarwhal1579 in your opinion maybe. For me it has the worst replay value, the worst soundtrack, and once you’ve played it once, you’ve seen everything the game has to offer
Here’s the correct list: elden ring>ds1>sekiro>ds3>ac6>Bloodborne> demons souls> ds2
Almost correct, DS1 is nowhere near masterpieces like Elden Ring or Sekiro
Can‘t be correct when you put Bloodborne that low
@@Dragonflee100for me is 3rd or 4th place behind elden ring and sekiro cant decide between ds3 and bb
DS1 really? Nostalgia is one hell of a drug. What does it have on any of the others? Interconnected world... and yeah thats basically it
In terms of gameplay: Bloodborne > AC6 > Sekiro > DS3 > DS > ER > DS2
its actually absurd to claim Bloodborne has better gameplay than Sekiro
@@zade8586 This is my opinion but I know Sekiro is also great, the people who like it REALLY like it as well. But for me, Bloodborne has nearly the same main combat loop with the viscerals/staggers but takes the edge because there are 10 or so trick weapons rather than just the same Katana the whole game and it matters because it means there's more to master and replay. Sekiro is very focused on that exact kit and the Isshin fight in particular is great because of that precise focus on Wolf's moveset but I don't feel the urge to replay it that much since once you master those mechanics and find your favorite prosthetics/get the lapis-lazuli upgrades there's nothing more to learn.
I agree that the trick weapons are a really great mechanic that sets bloodborne apart. I would also say that people way underutilize the mechanics of sekiro. it really isnt just the katana, the focus lies more on pretty complex skill trees and prosthetic weapon combinations, its really quite deep if you play around with it. I just hope we can finally play BB on PC with some decent settings in the next decade God forbid.@@Kaptime
@@zade8586 Yeah I get what you're saying it's not like my opinion is the right way without any argument for other stuff, maybe I haven't played about with the stuff enough. It's possible we get a de-compilation, or a PS4 emulator, or a port but I haven't seen any credible leaks about it so far unfortunately. I like all the FS games for different reasons and I hope we get that ER DLC per the leaks Feb next year. Bloodborne has that cult status effect so I see it as one of those games that will eventually come to PC just because it has a set of diehard fans.
Bloodborne is way too overrated dude, every subsequent fromsoft entry smokes it
The list is not complete until you rank lies of p...released just recently..
That’s not FromSoft
Dude why are people saying this dont you think we would know if they maid that game my brother
Bro what :D
Why would he include a random ass game that has nothing to do with Fromsoft? If he includes Lies of P, then he has to include the million other Soulslike clones, like Nioh, Remnant, Wu Long, etc.
What are you talking about? Putting Lies of pi would make no sense
I’m not interested in AC6, but here my ranking goes:
1. Bloodborne - My first fromsoft game, and my favorite game of all time, extremely closely followed by Breath of the Wild. This game is just everything to me man, I absolutely love all that this game has to offer. Level design, weapons, combat, bosses, and music (the latter 2 are only rivaled by DS3) is just 10/10.
2. Dark Souls 1 - The greatest DS game imo. The most unique and interesting DS game, and the best world design fromsoftware has created. The atmosphere is only rivaled by BB.
3. Dark Souls 3 - DS3 maybe slightly edges out BB in bosses, and music is almost as good as BB’s, but DS3 kinda lacks in the atmosphere and area department, unlike BB and DS1.
4. Sekiro - I did say BB had the best combat, but Sekiro has the best singular combat system for 1 specific weapon (fyi I still like BB’s combat more overall because it has the variety, but Sekiro beats it if we put Sekiro’s combat up against any singular BB build). The world is also really good, but maybe a little few areas?).
5. Demon’s Souls (PS3) - I prefer this to the PS5 version because it has more originality and less "generism". Many cool ideas, and you could tell Miyazaki was at his most inspired when making this, maybe except for BB idk.
6. Elden Ring - Unfortunately ER didn’t nearly live up to my hype, I wished it had been way more different from Souls than it ended up being, like Sekiro, or BB (even BB is more different from Souls than ER). The only good thing I can say about it that can match the other games’ quality is the artstyle, it looks really nice with much unqiue visual design in areas and enemies, even though a lot of them weren’t really that fun to explore of fight (same goes for the bosses). And it’s also supposed to be an rpg, but the game works against you if you wanna play a certain way, like I don’t like summon ashes, they’re worthless as rewards for my playstyle, but I get it… why man… it’s also worth mentioning that the game’s bosses is made around using summons, but for people who likes to play without them (like i said the game’s an rpg) you’ll get punished for playing the way you want, because they couldn’t figure out how to balance an rpg (a genre fromsoft is very used too atp) with different playstyles, unlike most other rpgs out there. I’m also afraid that Elden Ring will innovate the industry in the wrong way with all these copy-pasted locations that looks the same, too little variety in bosses and points of interest in a world being this large. It’s maybe FromSoft’s most uninspired game, because it’s really just dark souls in an open world as far as I can see, this game might as well have been DS4 (and people wouldn’t raise their eyebrows if fromsoft just made dark souls lore instead and just said "hey dark souls will be open world now in the next game in the series." We already see that Starfield does the same with the uninspired copy-pasted locations, and that made me think of ER. Sadly I’ve become a FromSoft-doubter after this game.
7. Dark Souls 2 - Not much to say other than it has aged worse than DS1 graphics wise, and even the areas doesn’t look that visually pleasing with much less details imo. It also feels like ER looked at DS2’s bosses and integrated it in ER in terms of boss-quality and how many they are in numbers at once vs the player.
8. Demon’s Souls PS5 - This is not a good remake. Tbh I’d even go as far as to say that they kinda butchered the original. If people wanna experience DeS, they should much rather play the original. The made the music more generic (DS3-esque, but way more generic), uneccessary changes to characters that made them less cooler in design, changing level design too look worse and boring, and removing ambience that made the original the 3rd most atmospheric game, right behind DS1 and BB.
Elden ring at 6 is crazy
@@mayo5004 Lmao no it’s not. You clearly didn’t read my comment because I obviously stated that the game had issues. Besides the level of quality FromSoftware has been on since Demon’s Souls is very hard to compete with, even for their own new games it’s no easy feat.
So essentially according to you, if I see someone that has… let’s say DS2 (just because it’s another FromSoft game with many issues) on the bottom of their list, should I reply to them with "DS2 at 8 is crazy."?
