8 years later and the only thing that changed on this channel was the camera quality! That's so cool

Videos have gotten longer, the quality has now exceeded 240p, the editing is more basic, the comments are more meme related
But Ashens literally hasn’t changed one bit.

The kids commenting about the quality, you were lucky to just grow up with HD quality on everything, this was the quality back then and i still love it :)
It doesn't bother me considering 100% of videos back in 06-08 had this level of quality or worse.
it doesn't bother me because when I was a kid seeing a video on a computer was the stuff of a madman's dreams. we were lucky if we had more than green and black on a screen.

You guys are lucky, back when I was a kid you had to get a friend to write stuff on a sheet of paper in front of you and pretend you were using a computer. The calculator took forever to solve a single problem and was prone to errors if you gave it stuff that was more than slightly complicated.
It doesn't bother me because back then we only had sticks and stones to keep us entertained.

Dude I think you really messed up the chronology on all that.
That was more likely on Windows XP, with Internet Explorer 6 or 7, and with, at least, a 1024x768 CRT monitor.
640x480 was way back when we used DOS as a "proper" operating system. I know that kind of sound weird but we were able to use that back in the days.

Good sound quality can salvage less than stellar video quality (to a point).
My parents bought me a machine that says 'PlayStation 4' on the box. I don't know if it's some sort of fake Xbox One but the graphics are shit and it feels like plasticy crap to the touch. They actually got it from a legitimate supermarket which is odd but I don't know, it's fucking wank so I'll probably just go and throw it in a dog shit bin at the park.

I would assume the low resolution allows the videos to be watched on small shoddy devices, that would not be able to crack something like the 240 mark.
I saw another video and it showed that it had DIFFERENT games on it and it came with a baseball bat where you attach the controller to it, and it also came with a gun that looked like a NES Zapper
this is my first ashen video....i was looking 4 info on the vii and ashens came up. it was funny so i watched another then another...and be4 i knew it i subbed!

The plant at 7:25 is something I have seen before - it looks very much like the "Nependeath" from Maplestory.
Now, chances are Maplestory just ripped it off of something else, but I don't know what it could be.

I found a unit called The Revolution at a large indoor flea market/secondhand shop a few months back. It's a small black handheld that actually has a few of the games that the VC-1 cartridge has; Squirrel Bobble, Pinball Fish, and Bubble Blaster (the Zuma/Puzzloop ripoff). It also has the two games he mentions came on a different cartridge called Mr. Onion and Plumber. Should I send it to the good doctor?
@janderapoopeeza the actual Nintendo Wii is also made in China and so is the PS3, well as far as I know the slim models at least.
