- In preparation for Halloween, I decided to platinum a horror game. The Quarry is a decision-based game, thus my decisions have an impact on a number of different things, like the storyline, the ending, and relationships. Playing this game I went in blind because I had no prior knowledge of the game's existence. Although the experience was great, the inability to skip cut scenes made it a bit repetitive. Loved this game, but one thing that irks me is the lack of communication from the Hackett’s.
The whole “these hunters are out to kill us” drama was bc nobody could stop and talk for even one second! They wouldn’t even need to go into extreme details about the lycanthropy; just say there are monstrous animals and you need to do x, y, and z to stay alive until morning. But alas, no words. Just ominous walking in the counselors’ direction silently holding a rifle and a bottle of blood 😂

@@TheactullyrealRickGrimes not hard at all, it’s just very tedious to sit through the cutscenes…since they are not skippable
The other Supermassive games have some really tough platinum trophies

Its not a nightmare its just time consuming. You cant skip the podcast at the end and you can choose chapters, so you need to play atleast 2 times or 3 if you messed up xD

The trophy list ruined this game. I think the story is great and the different things that can happen are awesome but the platinum makes it a nightmare.
