As Adam wrote. Level the strap. The Ford lifts the Peterbilt.
Then why did the ford get pulled 1st run
The Fords suspension wassent compressed on the 1. Run, and once the peterbilt started to bounce on the second run the game was over, the peterbilt wouldent have bounced, if the the strap was level. heavy hauling guys use the same trick, to get ekstra traction when they are pulling a load, that is higher, then there own. It fysics 😊.
Excuse me, not heavy hauling, i ment tow trucks. It’s like, when use a crowbar, to pull out a nail, if you just pull on it, without placing the heel of it, on the floor, you wont be able to pull out a Big one. But when you do, there is a leverage point, witch makes you able to lift a great load, or pull out a Big nail.

And if where to bilt a 4x4, that where going to tow that much, i would have made a towbar, that ran from the front suspension Mount, so that the forces where pulling Down on the truck, so that it would have a higher grip.

@Cody Randles doesn’t matter here. As the Ford pulls he actively lifts the rear of the semi off the ground causing major loss in traction. And in turn gives the Ford more traction because the rear axle is being pulled towards the ground. Put the high hitch point on the semi and the low on the Ford and see what happens.
I'm glad you see the physics behind it. It really does make a hell of a difference.
I use that same green truck in snowrunner works great.
But the F350 or that L400 does wheelies like a boss in snowrunner! 😂😂

I can tell you from experience of pulling myself with a 6S (6 Cells in Series LiPo) RC Truck on Roller Blades that the angle on the tow line for the Green Truck is so BAD for pulling. The Black Truck's efforts are literally pulling the tires of the Green Truck up off the ground enough to break the Green Truck's traction while simultaneously pulling down on the Black Truck giving it more traction.
This is the same problem I had using a short leash to my RC truck pulling myself on Roller Blades. Using a longer leash and/or crouching down relaxed the angle of the tow line and made my RC Truck's rear tires not come up off the ground as much, which gave it more traction and made pulling me easier. If I used too short of a leach and stood tall, the back tires of the RC truck would come up off the ground and the truck would be pulling me with just the front tires.

There should be a rule that the anchor points should be the same.... that pickup was gaining traction by lifting the other one up. Either way it was awesome!

The black truck won due to his hitch being higher allowing it to pick up weight off the back wheels of the green truck hence putting more weight on the rear wheels of the black truck. The green truck would of won with ease if the tow stap was even.

It's too easy to tell who would win even before it begins
The angle of the tow rope is making the pull uneven - the monster truck is pulling the back of the other truck up and vice-versa. This means that the monster truck has more friction and the other truck is having rear axels lifted. Basic physics. The tow rope should be level.

Let's put those 2 trucks up against a Caterpillar D11 bulldozer in a tug-of-war situation Now that would be no contest Because I believe The D11 will win.
The hight difference is pulling the green trucks back tires off the ground making him lose traction. But I think this is clearly known hence why the black truck is clearly so heigh for no reason its because he knows he can have that advantage. Not sure of the rules and stuff of this sport but that seems pretty unfair. What if I got a vehicle the height of a crane and hooked it to the back of the truck and just lifted the back tires off the ground?
Well if you're making a purpose built pulling machine think enough to make it as high as the opponent, the other guy is just more logical about it so he won seems fair to me

Those big ball off the back of the green truck just got neutered
The same trucks are from the production of the most heavy ballast Mack and Kenvord.
It is called physics and geometry the connection point was much higher on the Ford pickup then on the semi so everytime both of them pulled it took weight off of the back 4 tires of the semi, for a true comparison you have to hook up from the same height on both vehicles.

If the strap would have been level between the two vehicles instead of angling up towards the pickup truck the big truck would have won hands down, but because of the angle of the strap the pickup was pulling up thus lifting the weight off the back of the other truck causing it to lose traction everytime it bounced.

the tug was not fair because one end of the rope was higher, so the green truck lost its grip.
That was a great match, the hitching helped make it as even as possible. Obviously the green truck would have won 3 of 3, it probably has 2 tons on the ford.

That pickup truck never stood a chance against the semi. The truck was pulling up cause it was lifted so much. Had the truck had a hitch point low enough the match the semi it would have ran it all day. That's what happened when people don't understand physics. Lol
