Finally. I'd not been able to figure this thing out and I had watched several videos. You nailed it for me. Thanks!

I would say "Speed after" and "Speed before" doesn't refer to what you say (before/after the selected keyframe, in the timeline) but before/after performing the remapping. Hence you can provide the remapping factor both in terms of the "true" (before the remapping) video speed and in terms of the output video speed. I.e.: you can tell kdenlive your remapping must produce a slow motion effect with factor 1/2 (with respect to the original video) that way or as "make the original video be twice the speed of what I want as output".

Hi, congratulations on the channel, the work you do here is great, thanks for that!
Could you explain me? I just went to the Kdenlive page and the current version that is there for download is 21.04.3 and not 21.08
Where is this version 21.08 for download, could you let me know?
    Thanks for everything!

Hi My friend, thanks for your comment, i put where to download in the description section above. If you are using any Linux distro, it is available in Flathub and not available in windows yet. Maybe soon they will release it for windows , so for those using Linux you can update it from Flathub. But for windows, you can try the daily build 21.11, in the download section of Kdenlive website, but it is not stable.

@@EsesinforLearning Ohh my friend, thanks for the reply!
I use Windows, I'll have to wait or as you said try out the daily compilation.
I was excited by what you demonstrated, Time Remapping is an important tool for video editing. Shotcut had already been implemented a few months ago, Kdenlive was missing and I at first prefer the Time Remapping interface you showed in kdenlive.
      Once again, congratulations and thanks!

@@EsesinforLearning Hi friend, I hope everything is ok!
I think I'm going to lose some of my fear and try these daily compilations, it looks pretty fluid in the video. I know they might be a little unstable, but seeing you made me want to try. Thanks for having me, I'm glad I found your channel and subscribed.

What resolution monitor would you recommend for video editing. I have a monitor of max resolution 1366 x 768 and it is very hard to manage the entire kdenlive windows. Will a Full HD monitor of resolution 1920 x 1080 work better ? Can you kindly reveal the resolution of monitor you are using for video editing ?
Great video btw. Thanks for all the fantastic videos you are publishing on Kdenlive. Love them all.

My 2nd screen is 1920 x 1080 and sometimes giving problems too, but I thinks it's best for now.

I have a 1920 x 1080 24" screen which I consider the minimum one should use. I used to edit on a laptop and this is much better. Professionals will use a 27" or larger screen and possible more monitors. In this way, the timeline can be on one screen, the clip and project monitors on a second screen, and all of the other windows on the third screen.
