I am totally with you on the bolster. I fall over when I crochet, I have an old sheet, I crochet on my bed, AND I have a box of beanbag beans.
I absolutely love the pink and green granny square sample you showed! I think that would be wonderful for your round bolster!

Absolutely the mandalas for each end! 😍 So many options… mimic your yoga balls (but that would take a while) speedy granny Ruth with your favourite colours, the C2C squares you’re already working on. Most importantly you want the yarn to really hold up so you’ll be happy long term. The last thing you want is it pilling from use 😂. Fabulous idea & looking forward to the cover! 🧶💜

This is a great idea for a backrest on your bed. I like the granny square idea for the cover. Pick 2-3 of your favorite colors and make a simple flower center. You also have to make a matching bed runner. 🧶💜🙏🏻

Love your excitement and I love the bolster! Maybe you could stand it up on one end like you had it and cut off some of the excess and hand sew a zipper? that would make it easy access for sure!

That's an awesome idea!! I agree that the bean bag insides will be better than a pillow.. I use a big pillow behind me and I do slide down. 😂😂. I'll be watching to see what you with the colors. I like that you do practical things that you really can use, that inspired me to think outside the box!! Sorry I haven't seen your lives. I have a class on Fridays and then the days get away from me. Hi Christa, when you make the pillow case make it shorter so you can stuff the extra length to make it smaller to fit the bed. That way if you get a bigger bed you just take it out and put into a bigger case😮. 🥰🥰🧶🧶

One good thing about the band on the end is you can redo it if it starts to feel like it needs more fluff. I have always loved your Picasso with white. Maybe a Picasso middle with a color around, these could vary, and white squares in between to tone down the pretty brightness.

I´d do a gradient rainbow square instead of the sunflower and keep the rest neutral. Perhaps the rainbow square with C2C and neutral square regular or smth. :) And a rainbow for the round parts again or a spiral way with the neutral. :)

Hi Christa! I love this project-as I was growing up, my mother had bolsters on all the beds in the house! The rooms always looked so put together-my mom had a keen eye for decorating and she always DIY'd because she was so talented in many craft, sewing ,and crochet projects! You too, are so talented and inspirational! I have loved Your channel for many years ❤ btw- I think You'd be really happy using the pinksand green colors for it! 😊

C2c solid stripes. So one color don't work the next color
I like the sun flower but have a couple other ideas. How about hexie or the circle in square. Definetely mandalla on ends. I'm thinking about your curtains and they recommend white for relaxing. Ever consider different shades of white? Would be different for sure. Use like white, off white, antique white, cream etc. Cream being the center. Especially imagine the mandalla in shades of white gorgeous! Then you have that green blanket for the pop of color. Considering how much color there is in the room with the yarn a tranquill white corner could really stand out. Just a weird thought I had. Even white flowers would be beautiful. Nothing more beautiful than a white rose woooo.

Whatever colors are your bedroom colors. You want it to blend not clash. If you have multiple colors your options are wide open. Granny squares, hexagons, or octagons
