  • Kristin and Rick say they are concerned their 15-year-old son, Robbie, may be a pedophile. Kristin says her stepson admitted to her that he had strong sexual urges toward children over a year ago.
TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Chaos in your life?
“He said the only reason he hadn’t offended them was because they were going to tell,” says Kristin.
WATCH: Psychologist Says Early Developmental Trauma May Lead To Hypersexualized Behavior In Adolescents
Rick says, “It was just such a shock that I didn’t know how to deal with it.”
The couple says they began supervising Robbie 24/7 and tried to find him a treatment facility placement. Then, says Kristin, Robbie threatened that if he didn’t get help that day - he would rape one of his siblings, “So we took him straight to the hospital.”
Kristin and Rick say Robbie has been in treatment for the past year and is due to come home soon, and they don’t know what to do. Can Dr. Phil help?

At the same time, he had come clean about everything, no doubt due to the phenomenal parenting of his step-mom. This behavior is almost certainly due to abuse inflicted by his previous father-figure. I feel that there should be no reason that this behavior can not be purged, but the system does not seem to be interested in that.

But why does their son look like my perv band teacher, last year in 7th grade my friend was changing in the girls locker room with me after track practice I already finished changing and was just waiting for her to finish so while I was waiting I went to that bathroom they have in the locker room, and while I’m in the bathroom I hear the door open, then I hear a mans voice(my band teachers voice) so I get up and go to see who it was, then I just saw him staring at my friend she literally froze she was so shocked and terrified,so I started to yell at him and call him out then he started to walk at a fast paste towards me,there’s a fire alarm in the room so I pulled it and then I kicked him in the balls grabbed my friend and ran...that teacher still works at my middle school, they only banned him from the school for 2months for looking at my friend when she was basically naked in her bra and panties.i quit band after that and stay as far away from him as I can.

Since this is a child, that just can't be the case here. And you really should be able to either find adults who have went through it or a psychologist.

It's gotta be the internet. Some boys and girls go onto the internet without being properly monitored by their parents and come across wrong unacceptable acts on porn sites probably. 😢. It's very sad that porn is even allowed in our society. Because it might give someone ideas. Especially if the child is not monitored or given proper guidance. THIS is why everyone who is a parent should be using parental monitoring software! To protect and guide and get ahold of any red flags in time before it moved into action! These parents are heroic but I hope that they told the boy he was loved before they left him at the hospital. Just for his feelings sake even if they didn't. Sometimes you gotta set limits. Correction: with both children and adults you Must set appropriate limits and boundaries and cease contact if they're deviant. I learned that the hard way. I had to cut contact with a person. Sad that some people get that way and there's basically no way to get ANY actual help before something bad happens usually. Because parents are either in denial or just want to murder their child possibly.

Cork lad nah I think this kid is straight psychopath, he’s telling his parents this because to him it’s a normal thing that comes across his mind. Instead of your kid saying I have a crush on this girl.... he says he wants to hurt and sexually assault his siblings

I'm not a mental health professional but I think that sometimes people have OCD which can cause obsessive thoughts regarding things which they consider to be horrible and deep down are afraid of doing those things.
At such a young age you can become obsessed with sexual ideation when the body is surging with hormones. If this child was left to his own on the internet this could become worse. Once the child becomes used to getting satisfaction from daydreaming about these ideas it would be really difficult to break this thought pattern which provides pleasure but it all started with obsessive thoughts.
      Just my personal thoughts.

When doing horrible stuff a person ussualy dissociates that part of brain while the rest can function normaly. You can have a determination and will to do something horrible but the good part of your brain that keeps you in check throws obstacles in your way. Think about brain like a democratic system of neurons that each gives a vote before making a decision as a whole brain. There are no 100% bad people. Its always a "bad" part of the brain that hijacks the rest. Therapist ussualy want to make the good part of the brain take control over the bad part in problematic individuals. So in a way everyone is redeemable in terms of brain function, in the eyes of society tho...not so much. Money is also a big issue on top of that

He said that he thought the 14 year old victim was actually an adult and was shocked to learn the victim's real age in the interrogation room. And i don't think he was lying.
