4 fantastic parkups in Lorraine, France: loving these amazing places to stay in beautiful places.

- In this vlog we are back in Lorraine and exploring the area to the west of Nancy. Sexey-aux-Forges, Lac de Madine, Toul, Void Vacon have free/cheap parkups and we have loved being here and with the trail cam capturing night-time visitors too, it's been a great week.

Really love your channel and banter. Life's about having some fun. Good editing too, good mix of film, pleasant music. Super informative. And the prices you've found are amazing. I must take notes!! I agree with your motorhoming style of these park ups. It can be inexpensive. Park4night is a blessing. Can't wait to fully explore France. We've rushed through on our way somewhere else too often. Thanks for the info on Lac de Madine, looks a lovely place. I am always searching google earth for lakes in France that allow parkups but it is very time consuming so thanks for finding this one. Happy Anniversary too.

Happy anniversary 🎉 Another brilliant vlog. You certainly pick some lovely stays. We have now booked for France in September staying for 3 weeks Airbnb's. Can I ask which maps you are using. They look ideal for our trip. Keep the vlogs coming. 😊
@@user-pc2lx9xe2u Hi Rosie-Apple. It’s hard to find a non-lovely stay in France! You will love the country. We found the small part we’ve done very beautiful and the French are very welcoming and friendly.
Re maps, we use Google for checking the roads ahead of driving, but I always like a paper one too- we have a big map book but I always like a smaller scale regional map to mark our travels and look for highlights. The map this time was a Michelin regional map with a scale of 1:200,000. It shows service stations and also has a few city maps included. Ought from Amazon. Enjoy your trip x
Great video yet again and congrats on yr anniversary. just a quick stupid question, as we're new to motorhome I wondered when you stop at pitches without hook up do you just use gas for the fridge?
@@gregorydobson4307 yes we do, and it’s very economical in summer. Using gas for fridge, cooking and hot water (no heating) is less than a litre per day when static. No daft questions, just shout if you need our help or advice. Thanks for your positive words 👍
When it’s sun zero and the heating is on as well, we may use 3 or 4 litres per day depending on how cold it is, so EHU may be more economical 😳

We have been following you post's with great interest and love the banter. We hope we have helped you get closer to being RUclips gazillionaires??
Going back to the smelly topic of loos you posted a few months back, we are trying to work out how long we can be off grid before we have to service the bog?? I understand it depends on ones personal habits, but as an average can you go 3 or 4 days without emptying?? Do you carry a spare cassette?
We are visiting Belgium is Sept and would like to you which was your best park up for walking, site seeing etc.
We look forward to your response. Keep the banter going and look forward to your next post with good traveling information, I.E cost etc.

We can get two nights 100% of the time and 3 nights most of the time. (When completely off grid) Would like a 2nd cassette but struggling for room. Maybe soon I’ll have a clear out and get one.
All of the Ardennes is great for hiking and camping, you can’t go wrong, we don’t have a specific favourite though.

The wife and I have kind of achieved the same thing except we got married in 1990, where married for 13 years, got divorced and remarried after 9 months!! Don’t ask!!
So we have in a kind of way achieved 34 years in a round about way. 😊
