The arc hand cannon is better on hunter. I got the new heal/incandescent sidearm on my first drop it's fun but killed my overall kill count by 35%. Went from not dying at all to dying a few times

Got mine crafted earlier just by decoding weapon engrams in the helm. Took about 35 engrams for all 5.
wtf I spent 85 and only got 2

Yeah I'm expecting a big nerf to kill the popularity. Idk y they can't just being other gear up to par. It's like all RPGs nerf what's good so what sucks doesn't suck as much. Poor mentality to have.

For those of us who do not yet have the Final Shape campaign, The Call is not even an option because the Pale Heart is not available to us beyond the first mission. Similarly, for those who don’t have Warlord’s Ruin, Indebted Kindness is not an option. Aberrant Action will be just the first or second rocket-assisted sidearm for a lot of people and it seems like a great introduction to the archetype.
Heal Clip and Incandescent is a great combination. I have a Timeworn Wayfarer (scout rifle), a Heliocentric QSC (sidearm), and a Luna Regolith III (sniper rifle) with that pairing and it’s great on all of them.
I still prefer the call, but the addition of these new weapons allowed me to use heavy weapons. I only used to do Banshee's bounties it's fun to play again for me. I'm a solo player, and I'm starting to enjoy playing again just like way back.

You do t need it to be greyed out or on screen. You can still get them from focusing even before it shows up on the screen, you just have to unlock it in collections
So, I was able to craft the sidearm in 2 hours without using any deepsight harmonizers. Here is exactly how I did it:
First, you need to go to Ikora, start the act 2 storyline. Follow the questline & eventually you will have to do the new battleground activity (launched on Nessus, initially) for me, after finishing this I received a red border sidearm. I actually went ahead and did the rest of the storyline until the timegated story, where the quest says “check back with failsafe later”.
After that, When you go to Failsafe, and can see the grayed-out sidearm on the focusing page, you can now start opening the weapon-focused engrams that cost 2 engrams each. I opened around 70-80 of them, and got 4 more red border sidearms. 😊
Let me give you a tip, instead using 2 engrams to focus on weapons you can use 1 if you have a character you haven’t done the seasonal activity with that has no armor collected. As long as you have unlocked the sidearm first it will only cost 1 engram and you only get weapons 👍 just open the engram by the seasonal rank bar

@@byebyefiat sorry yes, you do need to get at least one sidearm, use a character that you haven’t done the activity with or one that you haven’t gotten any armor with. When you see failsafe turn the engrams in at the top section where you see the experience bar for the activity where there’s an engram. For one engram instead of 2 for weapon focusing. It says, “you get rewarded for items you have already collected” meaning if you haven’t collected armor you only collect guns for one engram
field prep is out of the question.. if u see a rally banner (swap to tripe reserves chest piece to rally)
I had five red boarders drop for me as I was running the activities. I can't believe I was able to unlock it already. Looking forward to trying different perk combos. I went with Strategist and Incandescent to begin with; we'll see how it goes. I wonder how Strategist and Demolitionist would work for certain ability based builds?

Im using enhanced field prep and enhanced demolitionist on mine and its very nice. More ammo because of field prep and more grenades because of demolitionist, its a fantastic prmerk combo, im loving this gun rn
The first hour into this session I knew bungie was in "hopefully we did enough and they stick around for S3" mode
One of my fav Destiny 2 RUclipsrs of all time next to Esoterrick. I know some people say your commentary is a little drawn out but for me (having ADHD), your slow pace commentary really helps me digest the information better. The other RUclipsrs do have nice content as well but they’re a little too fast for me.

Nice layout. I went with Ei 10 reload, linear compensator,flared Mag well, incandescent and beacon rounds.i like tracking ammo. Next one I make will have heal clip
Sunshot still peak for me. This is good substitute since it's not an exotic. I'd use this with witherhord or mountain top
This is kind of on a different note than the video, but does anyone know why I cant focus echo engrams at failsafe? Is there a dlc I need?
I’d say call is easier because you can basically have only the call in the pool when you farm engrams
My very first drop of this weapon was a red border with heal clip! I equipped it immediately and then went into the next activity. Until today I was using The Call which I thought was fun and so satisfying to use already
I used 2 harmonizers and got 3 reb borders. Got lucky i guess. But this thing cooks

Pair it with hazerdous propulsion and the side arm does more dmg

@@usmc4good well i'd run lucky pants to buff the malfeasance. I think some testing would need to be checked to see if it would be better to have a hand canon buff or a side arm buff.

I got heal clip incandescent on the first one I did with a blast radius masterwork
For a gun with no Range number it sure does shoot a long way with little drop off.
You can start gambling on the engrams for drops as soon as you load into the game. You don't have to have the greyed out one sitting there

@@cap873 yeah, but you can’t just go straight to failsafe without first doing the start of the quests. I needed to do the first couple quests, got a natural drop of a red border sidearm, and then I was able to go to failsafe & burn my engrams.

I didn't have to do any of this All I had to do was get it to drop from my engrams I used the two engram focus and they where dropping Red border along with the pulse rifle to be fair I did use some deep site harmonizers but they were dropping red border without having to progress the story

By all means play the game at your own pace, there's nothing wrong with that.
But there's ALSO nothing wrong with being an absolute grinder and wanting the Best Stuff ASAP.
But no matter how you play, the point of the video is that this new sidearm slaps and it is absolutely worth your time to craft.

My first run of the new Battleground and a heal clip/incandescent dropped. The other stats on it were top tier too and I just thought that it must be a curated god roll for everyone but nope, just got lucky.
Nice weapon but i would rather drink paint thinner than have to go through this quest to unlock focusing.
Once 50% have this the big stealth nerf will come in

I used all my deepsight focussing thingies (don’t know what theyre called in english…) and my 54 Echo Engrams to get this weapon😂

I don't see many videos about this, but can you make one on the Eververse Engrams dropping...trash? Aren't they suppose to give you items you don't have?? I'm constantly getting purple ships, sparrows & ghosts THAT I ALREADY OBTAINED MONTHS AGO!

yeah, as said its all rng, if you take a look at the massive list of eververse items that can drop from engrams, its plain to see why 99.9% of the time, EV engrams drop complete garbage. At least before they took away legendary shards, you could at least get a little value out of them, now they are worth absolutely nothing...

Why does this sidearm have 0 range?? The strand sidearm the call has 40 range on my roll but I just got the aberrant action and it has 2 range. I’m so confused

Why would I dedicate my special weapon with a roll found on numerous primary weapons? Slapping a ad clear/primary weapon roll on a special weapon is dumb
I feel the same way. I have a Heliocentric QSC with a Heal/Incandescent, and an adept Summoner with Heal/Incandescent. None of these require special ammo as well.
