Excellent!!!
Many thanks!
Always great films an info !!! Tks !!
Thanks for watching! I’m glad you do like it
Thanks Ann. Will try the air layering in melb on a white weeping Birch this week.
The tree is too big, 2m, and has lovely top branching so will make 4 bonsai out of one tree.
Like your tip with the silver foil so will use it.
Happy Lunar New Year💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Sounds great! And happy new too you too
In this you can see how simple
Good luck 🤞

Excellent work on this tree. Nice tutorial with an easy to understand explanation on your thoughts of pruning and root work.
So happy to know
Thank you
That is one massive trunk!
Love big trunk
Thank you
Big news here. In the state of California, last Wednesday, 8 old bonsai trees stolen from the Bonsai Garden in lake Merritt. One was a 100 year old Hinoki Cypress tree with a girth of 8 inches/20cm and a height of 18 inches/46cm. Priceless. Plus I just read they took 2 Japanese Apricot trees in bloom in their 10 day prime out of the year. Around $20,000 in stolen trees, which is priceless in my thoughts. Old trees taken. I hope that they can track the thieves down and recover the trees. I thought you might like to know.
So sad
Thank you to let me know
Always been a concern when I decide to share but life too short I have to take the chances
Mou sbirku navstivil zlodej 2x. Nastesti vzal jen 3 a 4 kusy mensich bonsaji, ktere pobral najednou do naruce.
Vice me bolela ztrata originalnich krasnych misek a 1 tlusty Hedera helix.
Vidim, ze se krade i na opacne strane zemekoule. Jsem ve stredni Evrope.
S Bougainvilleoiu zacinam, u nas je to in door bonsai.
@@milenaruzickova8026 Good grief, that they took two of yours. How awful. I know what it is to have things taken. Yes, it is all over the world that there are people who steal. I just hope that the 3 or 4 that were taken will not die from neglect and that you are alright. You are starting a bougainvillea. Great! You can place outside in the summer if it is warm and then bring it inside before the cold comes in. That way it will give the tree a bit of fresh air. Either way, that is a fun plant to grow and you will be rewarded for the flowers it produces. Stay well and enjoy a nice relaxing cup of tea tonight.

Any update?
I had one of my bonsai stolen from my yard a few years ago. The tree was really developing into a great bonsai at the time. I’m sure whoever took it didn’t know how to care for it and I’m sure it died not long after it was taken. It’s sad people can’t leave other peoples things alone.
Hey Ann, I hope you and the family that side are doing well. Been thinking about Valerie and Travis a lot lately. I just recently got a little John bottle brush and converted it to a bonsai and it's doing amazing. Sending all the love your side from South Africa!

Beautiful plants 🪴
Thanks for visiting
Tree is huge, looks amazing. I enjoyed seeing how you did the carving. I have 4 of these, 7 years now, all stuck in a 12 inch hanging basket. I keep trimmed short. This a bit of inspiration to separate them all into individual plants. Any suggestions? Thanks for another nice video.
You can do it! Better for them

Quite beautiful. Unfortunately these trees don't survive the winters here.
@@mchlbk where about are you? They can anywhere this tress though
@@MadamBonsai2023 I'm in Scandinavia. It's summer here right now and they sell these beautiful plants in garden centers at the moment. I almost bought one a few days ago but the winters are too cold here, it would be a waste of money. Maybe they'll be able to survive inside the house, I'll have to look into it. :)
