    This is a great summary!
One correction, or maybe I just heard that wrong: you did say you'll get a Stress point when going full-auto fire, which is true, but I think you also said you automatically panic, which is not the case.

Hello; Question for anyone out there: If you have a high Agility score (for example), wouldn't that carry over and affect your Ranged Combat ability? I guess I'm not understanding the character creation part. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

yeah, you build a dice pool by adding the attribute and the skill. Use the attribute that is linked with the skill. Then add or subtract for gear or situational modifiers. Then roll total pool with a number of stress dice equal to your stress level.

Any ideas of the practical role the career kid can fill, all others seem clear enough

I'll be honest the Kid is a hard one lol. If I was Gming I would only let a strong Roleplayer that I trusted to actually run it.
It's a class that has much more of a narrative (difficult) role than normal. That it's so easy for even a good player to become a that guy

late reply, but build the kid non combat. I made an extra pre-gen for Hope's Last Day as a child ignored by parents, always hanging around maintenance and vehicle bays getting in the way. I added low comtech and piloting skills, the laser pointer and a digital video recorder. Also the Talent that allows a chance to Dodge. I think everyone enjoyed the idea of this kid providing some hacking or piloting utility for the professionals. A slippery charismatic trapper rogue support character.
This is not really realistic, but I think it fits with the Cinematic feel.
I put a minimum age of 12 because even I have standards.
