PMJ came onto my radar w/ their 'first' cover of "All About That Bass' with Kate Davis, months later Haley joined them. Haley's first PMJ video was Tove Lo's "Habits" in February, by March Haley joined the PMJ tour in Europe, Berlin, specifically. She took a red eye flight from NYC and went straight to the Lido where she performed "Habits", then joined the rest of the cast performing a new arrangement of "All About That Bass", 'the European Tour' version. A couple days into the tour, Haley asked Scott if she could perform PMJ's cover of "Creep" which PMJ had recorded. couple months earlier, before the tour. The reaction to Haley's first performance of "Creep" in Lyon France, the crowd went from complete silence the whole performance, then burst into applause at the end, convinced Scott to do something he'd never done on his channel, re-record covers he'd already done. A few days after Haley's first performance of "Creep", PMJ took their day off in Zurich, Switzerland, and recorded 3 songs that day, two included Haley, "Creep" & "All About That Bass" w/ Morgan James and Ariana Savalas. They recorded "Creep" last. This was about a week after Haley joined the tour in Berlin, so after Haley recorded "Creep" she told Scott she wasn't sure it was good enough because she felt a little tired from being on the road touring since she arrived, but Scott assured Haley that it was perfect. Two of the 3 songs Haley recorded that day, "Creep" & "All About That Bass" are PMJ's only 100 million view videos. @@Harry-ie3nt Morgan James is classically trained in opera (at Julliard) and technically awesome but Haley connects both musically and emotionally better with her audience (at least that's my opinion). I've been to many concerts going back to the 1970's but sitting front row at Haley's was hitting at more levels than even the Rolling Stones, Jethro Tull, or Emerson Lake and Palmer (all of which were awesome and totally different genres). She definately has some extra quality that's hard to identify.

Haley's singing is a testosterone detector. Voices with those jazz stylings have been driving men crazy for the last 80 years at least. But there are mighty few as good as hers, especially these days. I love almost everything done by Postmodern Jukebox. Anything with Haley is great, but you should check out that clown. Look for "Chandelier" by Postmodern Jukebox, and you will have a very different kind of treat.
More Haley. " I Don't Know How To Love You" is pretty good, not PMJ, but there are at least 2 versions, the official release, and another "Direct to Vinyl with orchestra. Was not familiar with the grunge/garage original, (watch it first to fully appreciate) but the transformation PMJ does with it is genius.
