    Obviously Gym Rings are the best for anyone who is serious about training. Especially carabiner type Gym Rings.

    • @the_luminary
      @the_luminary 6 лет назад +1

      Im genuinely curious as to how Gym Rings are better than these Monkii bar type of versions. What are the main differences other than one being a ring and the other being a bar?

    • @pipelinegt6480
      @pipelinegt6480 6 лет назад +2

      Andrew Rubio I'd say the biggest difference is that gymnastic rings have a wider variety of exercises.

    • @the_luminary
      @the_luminary 6 лет назад +2

      @@pipelinegt6480 But how so??? Its just the handle part thats really different. The rope holding the actual Rings Or Bars can essentially be the same, no? Does the shape of the handle really determine the amount of different exercises one can do?

    • @pipelinegt6480
      @pipelinegt6480 6 лет назад +5

      Andrew Rubio Im pretty sure it is just the handle part thats different. I would say doing dips would be easier on rings than trx. Plus rings r way cheaper. Rogue sells rings for like $80 or you could on amazon and buy one for $20-$40.

    I just watched an ad for the Monkii Bars 2. It showed people throwing out their treadmills and weight benches. :) Suspension training is a great addition, but it isn't a replacement for running and weightlifting. The notion that it is, is just fucking stupid.

    There should be no debate regarding suspension training; there is a clear and simple answer: Gym Rings.
    Better that TRX in every single aspect and every movement - better for push-ups, better for pull-ups, dips, hip thrusts, and anything else.
    Even better are carabiner style Gym Rings.

      Cost. Rings are significantly cheap. Symmetry of the handles I've been able to do a variety of workouts with just one ring. Inherent stability. Hold the support position on rings you'll notice the ring itself offers some stability. Try on a trx or this doesn't work as well. Too much instability can be downside as well. The way rings feel in your hand. Try a false grip on rings vs these systems they fit way better in your hand. Wood vs aluminum+plastics. See what feels better and is more forgiving on your hands.
