Finally a catfishing show where the catfish get to go home. And then crappie too and great music to boot. Best few minutes I have spent in awhile. Thanks for the share. My dad was an okie and would have loved these videos!!
@David Banta hey David! I'm from muskogee, just bought a kayak and some new catfish gear and I'm trying to get serious about getting on some. Can you tell me roughly where this is on Texoma? If you wanna keep your spots secret no worries ;)
Who needs a boat when you can smoke em from off the bank.....Great video and nice cats and crappie. I am from Louisiana and my cousin catches lots of nice crappie off boat docks at Lake Eufala....I need to come to OK!
Awsome video. I can't wait till spring to go lip ripping. I fish for flathead off the bank at Kentucky lake. But I have to wait till they open the dam and raised the waters.
11ft. PoleVerizer surf rods.....but the company that made them has been out of business for years. Picked these up on a close-out special for $11/each, a long time ago.
@David Banta Man thanks for replying I love love your fishin videos! You keep it simple like me! Lol we both drive ole Chevy's and fish from the bank lol you have alot more luck then I do apparently. Fishin from the bank you got any tricks on guessing depth? I went out today on keystone and just simple Bobber fishing and there was shad everywhere but for some reason I couldn't even get a bite. You got any general bank fishing tips? Thanks for the response
@David Banta you should make your own channel.most folks don't have a boat and can't fish from anywhere but the bank. And you don't try to sell us on nonesense poles and bait and stuff. Simple guys who get there stuff at Walmart can catch fish the ways you do it.
@David Banta thanks for the tips man! One more question. Do you have to have a leader? Could I just have a 4oz sinker and just have a hook tied to the mainline just a couple feet above the sinker? Or Is it better to have a leader?
Hey Doyle, we don't think David has a Facebook account, your best bet is to find him fishing along a creek or river in southern Oklahoma. He works on Hickory Creek WMA so if you were to give the contact down there a call you might be able to get in touch with him: www.wildlifedepartment.com/hunting/wma/southeast/hickory-creek
I could watch him fish all day!
This is a dope video. One of the best I’ve seen. Just real and raw. Ugly truck all rusty, ugly lake, I genuinely love that shit.

Here in IA we’re allowed only 2 rods in the water per person, but this guy got 6. .not fair.😁

Can anyone tell me where exactly this is on Texoma?
No

David said the rods are 11 foot Poleverizers that he bought many years ago. The company is now defunct. The reels are Shimana TR200G's.

Makes your Aunt Jo want to come home and do some fishing or at least go to a good fish fry...
I wonder why no one is selling shad it’s the best catfish bait I ever used
It’s illegal to sell live shad maybe from a buddy you can buy them
