I rahter DUGG the collection..cool proportions, fresh layering, how so ever............the cast of models made the collection read less directional than it was. Enoough of these smarmy casting agents.....casting these shows from the local high schools. This collection needed full grown women in it !!!!
I think the collection reflects the designer well. The dressmaking is very simple. I seems also that she seeks to create wearable clothes. That the clothes are desirable is another thing altogether. I think she shoud avoid "visionary" design. Improve on what she knows. She can only get better. I thinks its fair to price clothes at a value she believes they are worth.
I like this collection - there's something for everybody. Victoria has moved away from black HOORAY. I like the check dresses; Chanel take note. They're wearable.

just doesn't look right....and she repeats the same thing over and over when talking about her designs ....''I want to empower women'' and ''I want women to feel sexy''.....taking into consideration empowering only the women who can afford her clothes.....Also she her self looks awkward and uncomfortable in photos and interviews etc..... maybe she should try just letting go and being her self......??then maybe she could put out a winning collection......??
I actually liked the collection but it just felt out of place. The colors, the prints... They seemed lifeless for a Spring Summer category . Also, the lack of diversity within the models is just a big No for me
Why does every look wrinkle around the breasts? Why the mismatched plaids. This is not couture, literally, but it isn't well fir ready to wear either. These girls have the best bodies in the world yet the looks let them down. VB would not wear it fitted like this. Why does she show it like that?
+Tina Huston No she hasn't. It;s obvious she is using her celebrity status to do this. I read in numerous articles that she uses many fashion design interns to do the "real work for her", whilst being underpaid.
+Tina Huston Well I can't comment much on her collections as I don't follow her brand at all. In retrospect there are so many talented and trained designers who deserve to have her level of fame, but seeing the top level is so hard to achieve without the right connections...it sucks.
The models look beautiful, but the clothes are just blah. It's kind of like she's trying to rip off Burberry with the picnic table prints. She also should've thrown in a few name models to keep the audience awake. The collection is not strong enough. This show could've used some names.
Victoria must has been in Isaan region of Thailand. The opening of the show with the criss cross dress looks like local Thai dress. This failed. Don't worry. She has a lot of money to ruin in fashion.
