I run AK-103 with grenade launcher as It's fun to GP-25 People with AK-103 and I also use AK-104 since no one really takes it.
The problem with 7.62x39 is i guess the fact everyone complains about BP being over powered which is hilarious considering the fact there are plently of bullets that out perform it.
And as you pointed out the visual recoil and the fact that there isn't fast firing weapon in this caliber

Also i would like to point out that 103 might have small adventage over others as it has lowest horizontal recoil (recoil dispersion) stat out of them all.

I mean, idk how it was before this wipe, but while 7.62x39 became my main once I could buy PS ammo from prapor, I have dropped it because it just bounces too much horizontally after the first 5 bullets, sure you can say skill issue or whatever, and it can be solved by not mag dumping and trying to pull some controlled bursts as well, it absolutely CAN kill, but, it just serves a purpose for a small window of wipe, cause before you can get PS gzh reliably, AKM is shit, and once you get PKLL3 you can just run any 7.62x51 with M80 with better recoil and better damage, prapor LL4 you have BT and 7N40, with higher rate of fire weapons and much less recoil, PKLL4 you get M62, M8556A1 and .300 BLK CBJ all of which are just better than PP gzh with much less recoil and better rate of fire, so yeah, 7.62 CAN kill but there are just better alternatives for most of the wipe

Better choices but the most fun I've had this wipe was running akmn with BMD muzzle and best in slot recoil attachments.

You forgot the SKS, which has almost 0 recoil and you can spam it with magnification

Atleast im thankful my favorite weapon mutant is still usable after the patch lol,keep up the great work man i havent been able to watch many of your videos recently because ive been grinding wipe hard

AK-104 with PS is a fine budget option imho, but none of them are really good except the SKS with barter trade, which is not full auto making comparisons invalid, 7.62 MDR is just better than pretty much everything, no need to use anything else except for fun/memes or ammo conservation once its unlocked.

Agree on the AKM series being not good as the old ones, agree too on the Mutant price being too high... but the RD... I feel that is underestimated... its recoil is not that garbage and the very high ergo is super comfortable, I feel like ergo is way more important than others wipe.
Maybe lower its price but overall, as a historical 7.62x39 enjoyer, the RD is a great gun

I agree, RD isn't that bad. The bigger point is that the price is not suitable for such efficiency and impact. Because there are cheaper and better alternatives. The same MDR costs the same, but is much more deadly

Why would I use this when I can 7.62 mdr or sa-58 at exact same recoil as 7.62 ak? Or a .300 blackout with cbj, or mp7 with fmj for headshots, since this gun sucks for headshots anyways. Look, it's fine ish, but there's no real reason to use, which sucks cause I love these guns...
