She's a character that's literally having to compete with so many other 5 stars who are meta and better in the elements yet her personality and story ironically fits those that would pull her. The ones who don't care about the meta and just want to pull her because they like her.

This cutscene was indeed amazing, especially the part where each characters shows their new dresses created by Chiori, and in this time of the video 1:06 , the moment they say "Let the show begin", I swear I heard it in Barbara's voice (because one of her lines is "Let the show begin" and she's my healer)
I love that each character story will have a particular principle and message at it's core, ahnd Chiori's is a great example of that. Even with it's more straightforward concept of following ones dreams and commiting to them no matter what people try to push them down, it still explores and articulates the nuances of what that means, ahnd gives a fleshed out perspective on being an artist. Great incredibly consistent stuff Mihoyoverse 🤘🤘.

That aside, fair enough in that it isn't as obvious to me that there was a specific principle communicated in Xanyun's quest, ahnd this can be said for other characters as-well. I feel philosophies were shown more straightforwardly in quests like Alheithams, Zhongli's, Eula's, ahnd other character quests, buht once again fair enough that a specific message isn't always as nakedly portrayed as it was here with Chiori's.
Although we have already been waiting for the anime for three years, I think this can compete with it. The animation in these cutscenes is so great that it can top them. and please add these wonderful costumes to the game
This is how story quests should be, including main charcters in the story, it makes the pepole of the same nation feels like this place is alive and evryone intract with each other , so fun !
