Probably just serious, or he wants to continue the game:) I thought as well that he felt uncomfortable somehow at the moment.
I guess he wants to stay focus on the game. He's a competitor : his goal is not to be the GOAT (hey LeBron !), but to win.
Stopping the game to honour him is the stupest idea. He probably can even enjoy the moment as there is an ongoing game which is important as we are approaching the end of the regular season. And imagine if after that celebration, monaco lost the game. And it is a disrespect for the other players too
I agree, could've just called a timeout to honor him and then continue the game after it's over and not make this whole huge show out of it
