      Thanks Robert! I'm hoping Ford starts pushing some battery optimization updates and more aggressive track modes

    Man I want one of these bad but tough to get and of course mark up issues. Now I really want the F-150 Lightning but some issues with that. I'd have to order a year in advance and find a dealer that won't screw me with a mark up.

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  2 года назад +1

      Definitely wouldn't recommend paying a markup if you can avoid it.. check with different dealers, high volume dealers are selling at MSRP around me. Ford X Plan is an option if your company has it available (check spouse, kids etc to see if they're eligible)

      @@CarsWithSteve definitely won't pay mark up prices, I refuse to. I ordered a Titanium Escape a month ago from my regular dealership and no mark up there. If there is when I go to pick it up, I will refuse it. This is my last ICE vehicle though, I just refuse to keep going down this road. All electric next time. Thanks for the advice, great channel man. You cover every inch of these vehicles.

      @@JC-bl9bo I've been on the fence for the next car too. Do you go EV or one last ICE? It's tricky! Appreciate that, glad you like the details!

    Hello, sorry to bother you,
    I would like to know how can I change my odometer. Actually, I have the total amount miles the car drove since we bought it. I would like to have just an odometer and give me the exact mileage I do between two charges.
    Thank you in advance
    Florian

      No worries Florian! There's no way to have that displayed through the cluster - it would be done through the Sync4 media screen. Check this video out:

      It's closer to the end of the video but that video goes over everything about the screen!

    why are those lights blinking and what do they indicate?

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  Год назад +1

      They're for the BlueCruise feature. You can't see them in person but the camera picks them up because of the frame rate. It's Ford's system for hands-free driving, so these little guys watch your eyes to make sure you aren't sleeping

    Can you make speedo show just in KMH (without MPH in smaller text)?

    • @jonathanj.3695
      @jonathanj.3695 3 месяца назад +1

      Yes.
      While driving with the speed in MPH showing in the cluster, just press the "OK" button on the steering wheel controls, and it will change to KPH.

    How do you change the radio stations using the steering wheel ? Is that what you call presets?

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  10 месяцев назад +1

      If you have presets set up, you can press the left or right arrow on the right pad of the steering wheel to jump between presets. But if you're on AM/FM/SiriusXM and then press and hold either button it will let you seek. You have to jump off to an ideal station quickly so I find the voice command "tune to 'x' station" works the best!

      @@CarsWithSteve I love channel browsing on a FM radio. Sometimes I go through ten radio stations within 5 minutes until I find a song I like. So, I can create favourite stations as use left/right buttons to browse through them? Voice control wouldn’t work for me, I have a strong accent so I avoid voice control on all devices.

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  10 месяцев назад +1

      Ohh I never thought of how accents would affect the voice assistant. As for the favorite stations, you'd be able to save up to 30 different presets and then change through them using those buttons by doing a quick press

    Is it just me or is the steering a bit on the heavier side?

      @@CarsWithSteve Everyone who drives it says the same thing, that it feels really heavy

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  8 месяцев назад

      Yeah whisper will do that.. it's more of a comfort steering vs Unbridled would be tighter and easier to turn

    • @pescator
      @pescator 8 месяцев назад

      @@CarsWithSteve I feel like unbridled it's just even heavier and tighter no?
      usually when I drive it for long, even on whisper long, my shoulder hurts. So usually I have to drive around two handed to make it easier on myself, it would be great if it was lighter, in my personal opinion.
      Also the suspension is quite stiff, at least in the extended range model. Specially noticeable since the roads in Portugal are pretty terrible.
      Coming from an Audi A6, these are my two main complaints. Everything else is pretty much spot on, at least from what I can remember.
