I love this machine. it is so exiting and joyfull to see video's about this beautiful machine. am busy to buy it from "HighTex Heavy Duty Sewing Technology" Germany branch. they've also in Germany a branch. am talking to the seller, and I like also a few presser foot's and some other accessoires. just one question. the stitch length and presser foot hight is exactly what they have mantioned in their website? in their website mentioned: stitch lenght: 11. presser foot hight: 25mm one another question. what is the diameter of the cylinder head? may I know that? thanks in advance.
I checked these measurements on mine and found the diameter of the end cap is 84mm, the foot lift depends on what needle plate set is in but 23 on mine at present and stitch length also depends on the thickness of the leather being sewn. The thicker it is the stitch length gets a little shorter. On 2mm thick I get close to 10 max stitch length.
Hey Ramon, The thread is 138 (20m) and the needle used here is a 160 (23) LR leather point. There will be some more info coming in the post on Leatherworker.net if you want to check it out in the link in the description above.
Yes that can be arranged. If you are in the states we can get you a set with postage for $110 US if you like. Just contact me on the contact link above.

thanks for information.
Does your CB6900 have the two tapped holes in the back to install a drop-down edge guide? My 4500 is from around 2009, and I don't think it has it.
Yes the CB6900 comes with the holes to attach a drop down edge guide and the CB 4500 does as well these days.
Nice work. What size of thread and needle are you using?

That's a very noisy machine compared to my cobra 4
Yep this machine is over 20 years old now and the old box style speed reducers were a bit noisy that way. The new ones are way quieter.
