If someone is really making millions trading stocks, they keep doing it, they don't try to "sell" you their system. They do as much as possible to keep their system a secret.
People that are successful at trading stocks are a very tiny percentage of all the traders… also they don’t have time to bother with creating courses, they are already losing enough braincells a day by following the market. Also, trading stocks isn’t something that you learn to do efficiently by buying one or three courses. It takes years of learning and experience (and blowing up your account multiple times in the process).

Why not sell a course or a discord group to make an extra few hundred thousand a year. Additional income streams never hurt and You can help people become successful at the same time. I know that once I become a successful trader I would also like to start my own discord and sell a course. Why not make extra $$$$ while helping people learn to trade.

I went to college with a "rags to riches" trader dude who promoted his story on social media for his subscriber based website. All of us in the inner circle knew his family were filthy rich. Not like a $3 million dollar family, more like $100 million dollar household. His money came from his parent's.

That watermark thing reminds me of how dictionary companies sometimes put fake words in their dictionaries to see if they're copied. You can't protect the information of word definitions, but you can protect the exact way you write them, and exact copies of fake words and their definitions is a pretty good sign someone's directly stealing.

I'm 19 and this year I learned a really valuable thing when it comes to investments, BE PATIENT. Don't check on the price every minute, just leave it be, put it into an index fund or etf and leave it there unless you're a day trader.
pro tip: virtually every day trader loses money. They're the equivalent of the person gambling in Vegas who only tells you about the jackpot they hit once and not the fact that the house always won in the long run. Warren buffet owns an investment firm. Far different from a day trader. An investment firm is in the risk tolerance of basically gauranteed just at a lower percentage. Think 100 percent over 10 years. Whereas regular traders usually make that in a year Edit: not saying these kids are legit they definitely aren't. Just saying Warren buffet is a different type of investor. Low risk compounding interest and dividends. Since late November I've done 100 percent. So in 3 months more than the s&p does in years. But it's not without risk, and tommorow it could drop 30 percent. Never know

Unless the younger person is a savant or a prodigy with enough experience and results to actually coach, I agree with you coffee. Under 30 just seems to young to be a guru/coach person, especially when it comes to trading stocks and crypto.
From what I understand of stock trading is that, with smart, careful strategies to minimise risk, you can make a fairly consistent 20-50% return per year, far above what you'd get investing in government bonds or other risk-free investments, but nowhere near what this guy is claiming he can do. Anything above that, and you're starting to enter gambling territory. The idea that you can reliably make 100x gains on investments is like saying you can consistently win at roulette and make millions from it. The system is designed to prevent that, you could win big through a single lucky call just like you could win a jackpot at the casino, but if people could reliably 100x their investments then the system would quickly collapse as trillionaires start popping up everywhere.

They needed people to practice coaching on and I was like “how are any of these people gonna coach me on business none of them have done anything including run a business”. All the best coaches are X whatever they are coaching. They know it inside and out
This guy is still going. His videos consist almost exclusively of what his opulent lifestyle looks like, as a successful trader (i.e. what you could get through following his system). During the tiny snippets where he actually is trading, he hardly ever stops to explain why he’s doing what he’s doing (not to mention many of them look fake/scammy, since you can see watermarks on many of the plots and graphs).
It is possible to turn 20K into a Mil or two in 6 months if he fully leveraged the money and has a decent win rate, it is just very incredibly risky and super unlikely.
The issue is, those people who can pull this off are also brilliant. These scam artists that claim they do it are idiots and make it very evident they have no idea what they're talking about. And as you said it's super unlikely, but they're popping out everywhere because these scam artists know it can sucker in bigger idiots where they can make cash through ad revenue/said idiots buying their products/guides/books.

I find it very difficult to feel sorry for people who hand over money to these Gurus, some people hand over $30 000+ to these nobodys and none of these people are asking obvious questions like "why doesnt Warren Buffet and Jeff Bezos have courses, I mean they have proven track record of making money, they should be the first to sell advice to sell courses".
If you think that you can multiply X amount of money quickly without any risks then you are uneducated.
If you think that strangers will give you advice on how to become rich you are naive.
If you think that spending $30 000+ dollars on seminars and presentations will make you a business genius then you are delusional.
If you think that anyone outside of the banking industry can make millions by buying and selling stocks you have no idea how the stock market works, and if you throw your money into something you dont know anything about then you cant cry about losing it.

Stock Traders are like magicians. The trick is a secret and they wont tell you how its done because if they do then you can take their system. A trader is not about to tell you his secrets because that would potentially compromise their success. If someone is trying to sell you a way to make money on stocks they are absolutely scamming you. No successful trader is gonna just give you their tactics.
One thing I have been seeing a lot recently is the trading guru that calls out other scam gurus but then tries to sell you their own course as not being a scam.

The people who self-stabilized were those who made enough money backing real business ventures to pay off whatever don/criminal they borrowed from (foreign banks wouldn't give enough if any credit until one made a name for theirselves). The main character was one of those people, except in his lifetime he pissed off enough folks to eventually wind up shot in his car after an insider tipped some crime lord that MC's main bodyguard was on sick leave.

That watermark thing reminds me of how dictionary companies sometimes put fake words in their dictionaries to see if they're copied. You can't protect the information of word definitions, but you can protect the exact way you write them, and exact copies of fake words and their definitions is a pretty good sign someone's directly stealing.
I heard cartographers back in the day did the same. Make a series of small fake islands somewhere in the Pacific and see if other map makers also print them.

I'm 19 and this year I learned a really valuable thing when it comes to investments, BE PATIENT. Don't check on the price every minute, just leave it be, put it into an index fund or etf and leave it there unless you're a day trader.
pro tip: virtually every day trader loses money. They're the equivalent of the person gambling in Vegas who only tells you about the jackpot they hit once and not the fact that the house always won in the long run. There's a reason Warren Buffett, the most successful investor of our time, doesn't day trade or even pretend like he could.

Warren buffet owns an investment firm. Far different from a day trader. An investment firm is in the risk tolerance of basically gauranteed just at a lower percentage. Think 100 percent over 10 years. Whereas regular traders usually make that in a year
Edit: not saying these kids are legit they definitely aren't. Just saying Warren buffet is a different type of investor. Low risk compounding interest and dividends. Since late November I've done 100 percent. So in 3 months more than the s&p does in years. But it's not without risk, and tommorow it could drop 30 percent. Never know

Unless the younger person is a savant or a prodigy with enough experience and results to actually coach, I agree with you coffee. Under 30 just seems to young to be a guru/coach person, especially when it comes to trading stocks and crypto.
From what I understand of stock trading is that, with smart, careful strategies to minimise risk, you can make a fairly consistent 20-50% return per year, far above what you'd get investing in government bonds or other risk-free investments, but nowhere near what this guy is claiming he can do.
Anything above that, and you're starting to enter gambling territory. The idea that you can reliably make 100x gains on investments is like saying you can consistently win at roulette and make millions from it.
The system is designed to prevent that, you could win big through a single lucky call just like you could win a jackpot at the casino, but if people could reliably 100x their investments then the system would quickly collapse as trillionaires start popping up everywhere.

This guy is still going. His videos consist almost exclusively of what his opulent lifestyle looks like, as a successful trader (i.e. what you could get through following his system). During the tiny snippets where he actually is trading, he hardly ever stops to explain why he’s doing what he’s doing (not to mention many of them look fake/scammy, since you can see watermarks on many of the plots and graphs).

It is possible to turn 20K into a Mil or two in 6 months if he fully leveraged the money and has a decent win rate, it is just very incredibly risky and super unlikely.
The issue is, those people who can pull this off are also brilliant. These scam artists that claim they do it are idiots and make it very evident they have no idea what they're talking about. And as you said it's super unlikely, but they're popping out everywhere because these scam artists know it can sucker in bigger idiots where they can make cash through ad revenue/said idiots buying their products/guides/books.
