You are honestly my favorite RUclipsr. I struggle with dry and sensitive skin myself so I adore all the products you recommend. And I love that you don't use filters and you show your skin super up close!
I use cream products year round because I no longer perspire and have dry skin. The hunidity is usually pretty low in the desert which makes it difficut to wear much powder for me. Your skin looked amazing!
Raven, you have to try the Tom Ford foundation stick for your dermatitis. It’s pricey but well worth it. I’ve had excema my whole life and since the pandemic my skin is more sensitive than ever. It does not have fragrance and covers like nothing else. Good luck!
Also try Gold Bond with a light later of Aquaphor on top to seal. My skin was soo dry it would almost break open and sounded and looked like sandpaper. This literally changed my skin. The Ordinary hylaronic acid did Nothing. This is the only thing that is working.
@@ravenrose6672 another option you may want to try is the wet n wild tinted hydrator. It's like a skin tint but it has decent coverage for one, and it's very affordable so might not hurt your budget too much to experiment with it. It's like $5 but the formula acts like a way more expensive one. The tip above about using an occlusive barrier before makeup is pretty good too, hopefully something like that would help with the dryness. Have you been able to see a dermatologist about your skin condition? I'm no doctor, but I know seborrheic derm is usually caused by a fungal yeast so it needs a medicated cream to heal. If you haven't tried it already, dermgentle seborrheic dermatitis cream is a really good one and it treats the fungus to heal the skin. Good luck, I know how extremely frustrating it is to have sensitive skin and not be able to use makeup bc everything makes my skin worse sometimes too.
Raven, have you tried Weleda Skin Food? Its about 15-18 bucks a tube and as a fellow facial excema sufferer I find its soothing and no irritation whatsoever. Its just a moisturizer but it may help you❤🙏🏻
This was so satisfying to watch. I don't have the drive to do a routine with so many layers, I'm proud of myself if I manage to wash my face and put moisturizer on haha. But damn, goals. I wish I was as skilled as you! You're gorgeous also 😻
A wealth of information and tricks, Mallory! Does that balm have fragrance in it? When my skin is having a bad day I use the Tom Ford foundation stick. Nothing else covers and moisturizes like it does, and I think I’ve tried almost everything out there.
I watched a video of Mario (makeup by Mario) talking about his favorite products and he said he loves prepping dry skin with the kiehl’s ultra facial moisturizer. I got it and it is nice 😊
I recently got that moisturizer as a sample and it did nothing for my dry skin. It just sat on top of my skin and pilled up. So maybe it’s not for extremely dry skin? I don’t know but after all the good things I have heard about it I was surprised at how it performed.
Omg winter is crazy drying for me. Between my psoriasis and overall normal to dry skin, I turn into sandpaper lol. I always switch to more heavy moisturizers and use serums and maybe oils. I like using my night time moisturizer during the day if I'm super dry. Summer time I melt like a snowman so I like gel based moisturizer. It's always a mery-go-round routine haha
Wow! So pretty! You nailed the non-dry look. They changed Doublewear formula, too. That's how I found youtube makeup channels way back around 2010 or 11. Estee L said they didn't, but they did. They all changed at the same time, something about the FDA breathing down their necks about spf or some bs like that. The original Lancome tent idole morped into Ultra teint idole but nowhere near the same as the original. boo hiss I've been testing out a sponge "air sponge" from Real Techniques that came out, I think last year, so we'll see about that. Thanks for the review. I've had my eye on this one.
Mallory, you are an amazing artist and your efforts to achieve that gorgeous hydrated face are well spent; however, in my very humble opinion, your naked face is a work of art!
Hi thank you for this video. Could you tell me what way you get you hair cut when with you stylist please as I have fine hair too and I love your cut 😍😍
Just found your channel and I’ve got lots to catch up on. 😂 Wondering if I could use the stick balm in this video with a moisturizing primer?? Need extra-EXTRA moisture but also some pore refinement/blur. I’m excited to watch more videos!!
I always use my Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré as my primer before applying foundation during the winter time and I also stay away from too many powder products. I just find that my skin looks too dry lol I tend to also use my tinted moisturizers a lot more during this time!
Your skin looks amazing 😻 And I think I need that Collagen stick in my face, too. My super sensitive, dry winter skin savers are Klairs Fundamental Mist/ Lumene Lumo Vegan Collagen Essence, and La Roche Posay Toleriane Night cream under It Cosmetics BB Nude Glow ❄️
I'm so new to this I don't know what to buy I have dry skin I try and it's cakey I know foundation is one but what do I really buy base layer to last layer can anyone help I want to look pretty for once for myself and husband
just careful of the collagen stick, as a protective layer its great!! and if you think it makes ur skin better then keep using it! but collagen as a molecule is actually too large to go through the skin surface so the collagen itself wont be absorbed into the skin:) if you want the added collagen you're better off taking collagen supplements
Collagen molecules can't be absorbed, but peptides can which can stimulate collagen production. I think topical collagen can still hydrate and give plumper appearance, though? It just can't restore collagen loss in the skin.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! My skin has been so sensitive lately and I can barely tolerate brushes. Will definitely use these tips
Good!!! I'm so glad you liked it and hope these tricks work for you ❤️
My nose is peeling, yet again - and no exfoliating, barrier protectors, moisturizers help. Excited to run into this!
I have seborrheic dermatitis and cannot find any foundation that does not irritate it to where it flakes right away, its annoying

good! I hope that this helps!!
This is exactly what I was looking for! You have a new follower ❤
I have extremely dry face skin and when I apply liquid foundation on I can still see my dry skin lines and lots of peeling, need help

Thanks girl! I totally get that though!! Its so nice to just wear moisturizer!

This routine will not work on reeeaaally dry skin, too much powder
