      Hi Fares - I may talk about this a bit in the future. Unfortunately (or fortunately) SketchUp doesn't have a ton of BIM functionality, so I don't know how far I'll be able to get into it, but we'll see. Thanks for watching!

      We should talk... it depends what you define as "BIM" functionality. You'd be surprised how much you can accomplish with BIM and some key extensions (PlusSpec, for one, but also simpler ones like Estimator for SketchUp and Profile Builder 2).

      Hi Mark - this is a good point - I guess I meant more with native tools - I did know about some extensions that add some of this functionality, but haven't really spent much time with them yet. Generally what I see in the commercial construction I've been involved with is the initial/preliminary elevations and designs are created in SketchUp, then as design progresses, the model kind of moves over into Revit for clash detection and other BIM functions.
      Are you using it for BIM right now?
