This show made us used to shocking reveals and moments, so after these two episodes which felt like the continuity of the previous season, I was waiting for something. Our characters are already divided in multiple stories, they all have personnel issues, but I needed the presentation of a new challenge, new things to disturb the rhythm of this season. With The Boys, the se**al Human Centipede was in fact a funny moment at the end, so I was waiting for something else. And I had it !
Not only for Homelander. Even if to have him facing all of these versions of him and deciding to go on a journey with his past is really great. But we also have here Frenchie and Starlight being confronted about what they did wrong in their pasts, and we have Kimiko facing a ghost from her past. That's gonna bring a new character and a new narrative arc. What happened at the ice skating rink was not just really fun, but it was also full of informations and it's surely gonna be followed by consequences !

Hello ! I talked about it in my reactions/review of next episode (you'll see it tomorrow on ytb but I filmed it on friday) : I'm myself disturbed and mad to appreciate that relationship. I see the chemistry, I love Frenchie and it seems to blind me sometimes but you'll see I'm all for Colin reacting so bad in episode 4. I don't remember how much I had to cut from the reaction part for the ytb version so : spoiler alert for the scene & my thoughts, it's awful what Frenchie did, knowing he killed Collin family, he still went with that relationship, sleeping with the guy he killed the family of and for Colin to discover that, it's not just a betrayal, it's so disgusting. So even if I saw their chemistry and loved it, I also see there is no possible future for them and colin has all right to want a revenge here. For the murder, for the betrayal and lie.
