Why kukis chose to do mass rally and start the violence on 3rd May, the day Vice President comes to Manipur and all the police were busy with VP visit security?
Why police failed to control the violence? 60-70% of higher ranked police officers including DIG, IGs, SPs were all kukis.
Why American journalists were already there in Manipur even before violence started? Did they know that violence is gonna started?
Kuki started attacking Meitei's on 3rd May 2023 just because someone unknown burnt a tire in an iron village gate, is it all staged to create this mayhem?
Why kukis are not against poppy plantation and are against border fencing?
Why they always talked separate administration called kukiland?
Why Mizoram CM talked about separate kuki zo nation called Zalingam in US?
If you start searching for answers of the above questions, you will start seeing the true motives behind this violence.
FYI: Kukis fought with Nagas also in 1993-94, where thousands of people died. During that time meiteis helped kukis to give settlement and to mediate the violence.
The "ethnic cleansing" that the kukis are accusing Meiteis are actually what they did in the Churachandpur, Moreh and other kuki dominant areas. There were still kukis in the valley when they shout for ethnic cleansing by the meiteis and demanded separate administration. It's only after the national media came to know about kukis still residing there in Imphal, the Central govt dictated state govt to shift away the remaining kuki population. It's not a violence or war between two communities, it's a violence to crushed the Meiteis altogether with the centre working hands in glove with the kukis. This is a betrayal to the meiteis from the centre and a fellow tribe. We will never forget this betrayal.

Well kukis are from Yunan tribe(China), if u had done better research upon it, kukis and Yunan tribe share a huge chunk of similarities like language, culture etc. Also to mention the fact that the Manipur’s border has not been fenced due to a treaty signed between meitei dictators and the Myanmar authorities, this had lead to a route of entrance for emigrants, terrorists and what not.

@swapna_chanu_ well if you read the history then burma was the part of Indian empire. The nagas were a tribal group in china who came as refugees in chin-Myanmar region. Later on to India and they were given a place to live. Kukis, no one knows their origin coz the history is distorted to suit someone's agenda but they say they were initially in persia. Then via present day Afghanistan they entered china via the wakhan corridor. They spent few years in china, ousted by the local tribes. So had to run again and then they reached Myanmar. And since then they are living there. Then the British gave them a new identity and new religion. Then recently they started saying they were the lost tribes of the jews. They say they are originally from Israel. So its a bit of complex history.

New generations are converting to Christians but unlike Christians in hills, Meitei Christians in the valley have freedom to express their own self. Also there are Pangals (muslims) who are dwellers in the valley.

meitei have 600 sq km but their population have grown to a position where they need more lands jobs. so they start this st quota so they well have the rights to buy lands from the poor hill people. also the job quota.... no one can denied that meitei already have OBC, SC, also the EWS where they enjoy the benefits.... but the naga and kuki only have the ST quota and they struggle for jobs both in central and especially state jobs. meitei just because they have the majority both in politics and numbers and influence both money and po;itical outside states. now they started to creat all this st quota and all this states problems now it is out of hands and start playing victim cards.

Vishnupriya Bengalis are the original people of Manipur, when both Meiei, Naga, Kuki are the outsiders from Burma, when originally half of Manipur went to Burma with Maharaja of Manipur objecting and Nehru sent him to prison. Bengali was the official language of Manipur for the last 400 years. Maharaja was a Bengali. Meiteis expelled all Bengalis to Tripura, where they live as refugees.
Arjuna married Chtrangada, the princes of Manipur and their son Babrubahan took part in the Mahabharata War. They were not Meiteis or Nagas or Kukis, but Bengalis.

The Kuki - Zo group initiated a gunfight with the Hmar and killed a Hmar girl named Kim, later blaming the Meitei for starting and escalating the conflict into a war zone in Jiribam. In this incident, 11 illegal Kuki militants from Churachandpur ( CCPuR ) were killed in Jiribam. You can verify the names of these 11 individuals.
If the Meitei were responsible for killing the Hmar girl, Kim, then why were the Kuki - Zo militants from CCPuR involved in Jiribam? Why's the Kuki - Zo group present there, while the Meitei and Hmar communities in Jiribam have been peacefully coexisting from the beginning? The Meitei and Hmar have always maintained harmony, helping each other and fostering peace, but it seems the KuKi - Zo group doesn't want peace in Jiribam.
The Kuki - Zo militants have repeatedly tried to create conflict in Jiribam, but their attempts failed. As a result they killed the Hmar girl, Kim, and blamed the Meitei, aiming to provoke the Hmar community and disrupt the peace between the two. Despite the tensions, Hmar individuals still visit Jiribam's main town to sell vegetables and buy goods without facing hostility from Meitei.
You can visit the peripheral areas of Jiribam and see for yourself how the Meitei and Hmar communities coexist peacefully, helping one another. It's clear that the illegal Kuki - Zo factions want to drag the Hmar into their conflict, disrupting the harmony between peace - loving people.

Please mention straight the reality of poppy cultivation in manipur. Vast areas of Manipur is being used by Kukis for poppy cultivation supported by Assam Rifles. First understand the history of northeast, why ancestors in some states of North East had to accept Christianity instead of practicing their own tribal religion. Christianity is the colonial legacy of British. Tribal had their own way of life and devotion, british converted tribal to influence them religiously.I being a hindu urge every Christian to stop converting people in northeast.
