Oh my. Reimagined is not a sufficient description of what you have achieved here. Your 'reimagining' of Barber's Agnus is simply sublime, a heaven sent message from the whole host of Heaven. It stuns me into silence. The last sequences are phenomenal, that massive build up, then that drop down to that feeling of divine peace (Grant Us Thy Peace) where some of the actual words of the Agnus shine through. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. More please.
Possibly one of the most beautifl pieces of music ever written. You interpretation is brilliant and led me on a trawl through RUclips through the DJ mixes of which the very simple William Orbit version is probably the most pure,

Sorry - vocal music without the words is pointless! Church music isn't primarily about producing a beautiful sound - it's about communication - something that some choirs I've heard over the years would do well to remember.
RUclips don't allow us creators to put 'lyrics' on the screen anymore. I wouldn't say it was pointless, and it is my belief that choirs sing to God on behalf of the congregation/people.
@@beautyinsound I've had no problem putting lyrics on the weekly hymn recordings I'm doing for church - but that's for people to sing along to (or think about). I still think that recordings of vocal music should be engineered so the lyrics can be heard clearly. Yes, choirs should sing to God - but it helps if the congregation can understand what's being sung about! Was it Wesley who talked about "singing with understanding"?
The words are in latin. Heres the english translation for you........”The Lamb of God, who took the sins of the world, Have mercy upon us. The Lamb of God, who took the sins of the world, Have mercy upon us. The Lamb of God, who took the sins of the world, Grant us peace.”
Words are not enough to express the beauty of this song.
Piece* because it’s a classical work :)
I was a bit skeptical when I saw "reimagined" and with instruments. But it turned out just right, Thank you for this beautiful piece!
Such a beautiful piece of music. I can just feel all my stress dropping away listening to this.
It should add to it - it's about dropping dead and seeing nothing for eternity
