You’re not alone! I asked in a video a few months ago if anyone still likes satins and I got a ton of responses from people who do. It’s just not my personal preference 😊
I also love satins but on my crease instead of my lid
Viseart has amazing quality! They’re shadows don’t swatch the best but they blend like a dream on the eyes, which in the end is what matters most 😁

Viseart mattes NEVER swatch good but that’s a different story on my eyes at least, I loveee the Viseart matte formula! That’s why swatches don’t tell the full story
They're good and easy to use, always blend well, and you're able to sheer them out or build them up to true-to-pan.
But like... Glamlite has a very similar formula (but more pigmented) for much, much, much less money. I did buy the Editorial Brights around 5 years ago, but I feel like I just can't justify their prices, now that I know of more (QUALITY) indie brands. 🤔

I truly believe the price is way too high in general for Viseart but they know they’ll sell regardless but with the amazing indie formulas out there there is competition

I can’t wait for my Violette palette to arrive! The mattes always swatch terribly 😅 but I find that they apply and blend wonderfully in my experience.
Tysm for trying out our amplify primer. It feels more like a balm but if you take a pea size then warm it between fingers and apply it it goes on much smoother. If that is too heavy for you bc it is a very rich primer for drier or older skin. You can use it to remove makeup as well. Our face base is our all skin type primer. Amplify is amazing on the eyes and under hl or on inner corner to amp up shadows and hls mattes included. I hope you like it. I appreciate you supporting lele 🥰

I just ordered that violet Viseart palette and now you got me so eager to use it. I love their little petite palettes. Their mattes swatch terribly unless you swatch with an eyeshadow brush, they perform wonderfully on my eyes and last all day. Love it!

I use NYX Glitter Primer or I spray my brush for the Viseart shimmer shadows and it helps them a lot 🙂 also, Viseart has discount codes ☺️
I’ve been looking all over for very strong olive/yellow bronzers, so that DM contour product seems so perfect for me! Kinda looks like a contouring bronzer, I’m very excited to get it!

I figured you would be disappointed by the shimmer/satin shades in this Viseart purple palette, they are definitely subtle. I used this palette with the Viseart Rose Edit palette which has slightly more popping shimmers. The brand has come out with a pretty good metallic formula in some of their palettes but overall their shimmers are just more subdued compared to the ~wham~pow~ of other indie shimmers & duochromes. But I'm ok with that for everyday looks & I've never found a better deep, purple matte than Viseart. If I want more drama, I just use the Viseart palette with duo or multi-chrome shades from SG or Terra Moons & I'm always happy. I wore this palette with purple mascara/eyeliner & was very happy with how it performed.

I am another pale person. Just picked up a Clio contour palette that has a wonderful contour shade. Much easier for me to blend than the LORAC palette I’ve now bought twice and liked until trying this one. Thought you might like it too. For cream, I really like the Jordana-also on my second. Wish you ‘d tried the Viseart shimmers wet too. I have their 6-pan purple palette and cool mattes. All those shades get me close but knowing id the glimmery ones worked better wet would’ve helped. But you do the most beautiful eye looks. 🥳

Viseart mattes might be the worst swatching shadows. But they are the most true to color, pigmented, blendable, Things ever! Also those are 1.5 grams of shadow.

The viseart palette didn't show up too much on my dark skin.. I had to use it with the juvias place Royal palette to make it work.

I like visearts eyeshadows. I know their matte eyeshadows are more on the powdery side and don't swatch well at all. However, on the eyes, their matte eyeshadows are very easy to blend and also blend almost seamlessly into each other. This really impressed me. Mostly, I have a hard time to blend matte eyeshadows which are more powdery.:)
Wow that Winky Lux Tea Time Rose Blush was so freaking cuteeeee!!!!! Was it a cream blush or powder ?! Can u use a light brush to apply ?? I have a feather light blush brush that would be perfect for not messing up that rose and also prob great at picking up even color because of the shape and the brush being loosely packed for soft application... It's actually the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe JH14 brush ! The bestttt blush brush to not overdo application it's fool proof ... Makes me feel like a pro hahaha

Viseart mattes have always swatched terribly. But they are very easy to work with on the eyes. Have you tried the Westman Atelier contour? It's stupid expensive, but stunning especially for the very fair. But that would be a good bronzer shade for me. The slight yellow works for me.

I have the Morphe P PALETTE with all of these shade and than some.. it really is a nice Palette and the pigmentation is good.. for it to be one of MOrphe early Palettes. So I'll pass on Visart. Maybe the Dark matter Palette from them will be better.

I expected that Rituelle De Fille To be wayyyy more intense. I'm shocked it barely showed up. You can always look at the "comedogenic" rating to find out if something will clog your pores or not. Coconut Oil is 4/5, but Fractionated Coconut Oil is 2-3/5

I own dark edit from Viseart and even through it seems that mattes are more pigmented and shimmers more intense compared to the one you have.. I still regret buying it. Thrre is nothing wrong really but I don't get the hype at all. I much more prefer my Lethal Cosmetics, BH, BeautyBay, Oceanic, MoonSpell, Nabla, even some of my revolution palettes over the Viseart one.
I am obsessed with purple eye shadow. Oh, I just love them!! Viseart is a brand I've always wanted to try but not really able to afford. I do have the Morphe Such a Gem palette and that has a great variety of shades. But it doesn't stop me from wanting every purple palette I see!😂 Happy New Year to you!!!❤
i will say girl the viseart palettes are totally worth every single damn penny (plus theres discount codes) ...i have wanted to try them for years and finally last month got the palette from the boxycharm popup sale and am now addicted and will continue to purchase everything i can get my hands on. like will prob never buy another brand matte palette. and as a beginning pro artist they work on seriously everyone amazing!

Yes, their shimmers/metallic are more on the softer side, but I actually like that as well😂...but we all have different skintypes and preferences...we can not love all the same eyeshadow formulas, that's imposdible🤷♀️ Thank you for being always honest in your the reviews!

Did u get any of Denessa Myrick twin flames? I have been super disappointed 😞with mine they just don't work well over powder shadows and then doing just it on the lid it def doesn't have anywhere near the intensity as it does swatched on the hand the iridescent one is nice as inner corner but it is to shear to use by itself on the lid and looks chunky if u use it over a shimmer shade r even matte

Is anyone else having MAJOR issues with shipping? 😭 I have stuff from November that isn't even close to arriving. Also, most of the orders I made on and around black Friday, and early December.
I've received 3 boxes so far, and I shopped... A ridiculous amount from mid November to mid December. 🤔
I have stuff that's been stuck in the originating warehouse for 3 weeks, stuff that has been between areas for like 2 weeks, and etc. Canada Post (and to a lesser extent, every shipping company) is pooping the bed, as usual. Pfffthp 👎🏻!

It's not the biggest problem ever, obviously. Yes, I am a bit jelly that other people are getting their hauls, but I'm mostly surprised at how poorly some companies and countries are dealing with this whole situation, especially around Christmas time. And how well some others are doing.

Dang I was really excited to try that Danessa Myricks contour after you first showed it (the same light shade) but yeah wow, it is way too warm. Super disappointing that the product shots looked much more cool toned.
That Viseart palette was definitely a waste of money. I feel like you could have achieved a similar look with other products. Also I personally just don't get the point of ]Satin Shadows. Does anyone like them anymore? I feel like more persons dislike them than those who like them. I personally feel kinda meh about them

Off-topic, but it's actually a myth that if you touch a baby bird, its parents will reject it due to smelling like a human. The vast majority of bird species have a horrible sense of smell.

Man I just cannot get behind Nudestix. Everything about them seems like it’d suit my style, and the idea of being a family business is sweet, but the way they got there is rooted in some privilege that they don’t try to move away from even now. Their maga hat photo op was too bizarre and I’m not one to put my money towards trumpers in the first place, but the way they swept it under the rug rather than acknowledging their antics to some capacity and offering some sort of explanation aside from “it’s a joke” is frustrating when that joke relies on the oppression of so many others. Then the lack of inclusivity in shades seems separate but at the same time it tracks....
I know it’s “just makeup” but I like to be informed and vote with my dollar in the best way that I can despite no moral purchases under capitalism.

100% agree. They did apologize in the summer when #pulluporshutup was happening, but they seemed SO reluctant to even do that. Like, it looked like the mom was annoyed to be there and was just making the daughter apologize to get people off their backs. It did not seem genuine at all.

I was thinking it sounded like a baby bird. If you touch the babies the moms will abandon them or at least that’s what I’ve always been told.
