Erickson Air-Crane at Macquarie University

As part of bushfire fighting operations happening behind the university in the Lane Cove National Park, two Erickson Air-Crane aircraft utilised the University Lake to fill their tanks to help with aerial fire fighting efforts. Each aircraft can hold over 9000L of water and fill within minutes.
