Just wanted to say that I really appreciate how honest you are with your struggles, and what did and did not work for you. This isn't a showcase for your talent (though you are obviously talented, to be sure); it's an actual teaching platform for you, and I just find that really refreshing. So thank you from Kansas City, Kansas, and please take care. 🤙
Omg I only to play a few months ago and I really struggled to find out what I was doing wrong, since I had coaches, as well as your and the rest of the internets tips to draw from. I had several epiphanies which all brought me closer to consistent and "good" cue action, and you listed three of them in the beginning of this video. I'll add the fourth as well, in case someone else is struggling with this. What I did was, I tightened my shoulder blades intentionally, to keep my shoulder still, but I was doing it down on the shot. Also, I only straightened my right (hind) leg when I was down. I started to focus on doing as many of these movements before I went down on the shot and that helped me immensely.
I signed up for the Rocket Method as soon as I saw it. This video might be the best free lesson I’ve ever had. I’ll save it to watch again when I forget all of it in 3 days.
I played snooker for the first time two weeks ago and since then I've been watching your videos for tips and tricks! Thank you for what you do! Hello from Kyiv, Ukraine
been following you for a few years now mate. Although I'm not able to play snooker as much now, I still think about your tips when I play pool. can't stay away from a table :) Cheers from Connecticut, USA
It's absolutely amazing how you put this video out because I just discovered this on my own and I wasn't going to tell anyone about it but you put a video out I just hope none of my friends don't see it this is absolutely game-changing I can tell you that 😂😂
Great informative video mate I’m going to start going to the club more often and getting more practice in and tinker with my stance etc keep it all consistent I’ve never really thought about the stance and other stuff 😊 hopefully get some positive improvements mate
at 4:43 I noticed that your cue is adjusted one second later. So you start off aiming wrong then as you play the shot most of the time you adjust the shot. is this deliberate?
The first issue u address is sth I noticed recently as well. I think it related to my tiredness as well. As a not fit person, playing frames n walking will make me compensate my stance by making it wider to support my body weight. Hence when games goes long my other foot will go front even more to make it wider.
Greetings from Bangladesh. I am a beginner pool player and although I don't play snooker but a lot of these tips help with my pool game nevertheless. Keep 'em coming.
Break, i am trying to look more at the line that cue ball should move than the target point around the red ball, ( line between cue and target ball ) it seems i shoot better with this, can i continue with this?
Hi my name is Andrew I live in weston-super-mare I play right handed but my dominant eye is my left and sometimes it's a struggle for when I play do u have any advice on that.
I find it slightly odd what he meant by that. Because he’s right that the people who constantly fiddle their techniques almost never get any better. But the more you can eliminate differences between one shot and the next the easier things get. Like how I put my left foot in a different position every time made me inconsistent. As did leaning differently, twitching my bridge arm and snatching at the shot. So scientifically looking at your technique won’t help but nor will cueing up differently every time
When i hit my wrist goes inside . And my arm is have no lock . If i lock with chest then my cueing goes is in very tough and required very effort on cueing. Who can improve that things.
Usama, maybe google words: Snooker shoulders advice and a and make sure your stance is good coz it makes it easier to get your shoulders correct position. good louck
Alex Higgins had the worse stance, the biggest shake movements possible. His head was constantly moving, his hands never settling in place, his whole body screamed frustration. Yet it worked for him. You can't copy him, it's impossible. If you are so used to playing in a certain stance, that is how you play. This is only useful to players starting. Like learning guitar. Always play with your left hand as straight as possible on the fretbroad. My hand bends left. I can't change that. Same as holding the cue. I can't and don't wish to change that now.

1) Right foot on the line of the shot. 2) Chest to cue.
3) Tip to white.
4) Feather with a front pause.
These videos keep me interested in snooker - Launceston, Tasmania

Great video 🙌
can you make a video about body turn, and why the cue tip goes to left after delivery. is it the stance, body turn etc

I have made a few videos on it but was a while ago
will keep in mind for sure. find me in Dhaka, Bangladesh
I learned a lot from your video thanks from Pakistan Gujranwala
Really nice video..... I was playing incorrectly.
I try to recreate this as accurately as possible with the fewest possible attempts 😉
I need more tournament though, maybe should have done the senior world championship
What cue do you use?
You da man Quint 🎱👍
Could you possibly do a more in depth vidoe on how to practice and change these things ourselves
Sight right is a game changer.
I have to use tempo, can't play with a pause, as I feel a lot of tension when I pause and it makes it harder to keep my arm relaxed.
This would be hellish viewing for Michael Holt lol

now you've made the man in the video very angry!
Didn't like the new added voice over between segments... Nothing wrong with you doing it - and keep the conversational dialogue with us!
I thought he used that voice for a laugh
Get a mic please really can't understand that you have to say
I'm looking into it
Buy him one. He's giving free content, it's the least you can do :)
Get some decent headphones? It's nice and clear sound for me.
Do you have a email address i can contact you on? I have a snooker product id like so see if you would be interested in reviewing?.
Yeah it’s breakfromlife@gmx.co.uk
