Hey, I'm from Elite:Dangerous and I love the flying system in this game. Without flightassist you can let your ship drift around a corner, you feel the mass of the ship. Overall, flying in Elite is smooth. Without having played Star Citizen my impression of flying is that it is not very soft, the ship moves jerky. (Thrusters, rolling, yaw and up/down). Is there anyone here who has experience playing in both and can confirm this? I ask because the immersion of flying is essential for me (especially in combat situations and because I use an expensive Hotas system with dualstick control) and I don't want to buy a game that doesn't offer this. Thanks a lot!
Hello, I have flown multiple of the small fighters in game and have experienced large and small ships. The flight is in my experience on par with elite dangerous. It may look like flight is jerky but it depends on a ship. A light fighter such as the anvil arrow can be very jerky because it is meant to be fast responding and aggressive, able to turn as quickly as possible. With the medium ships such as the freelancer you can feel the weight of the ship. As it is not a dedicated combat ship stopping can be slow and movement lags behind. The implementation of ship weight in this game makes all the various ships feel more diverse and better in their flight.

Guys. Do not listen to misunderstood people. This Carrack that you showed at this world event is good. No need to change it (cut the fat), if it damages its interior, and it become smaller.
I like the carrack a lot but I’m kind of disappointed with the interior. For being a long range exploration vessel it lacks a lot of useful furniture and decoration, like in the pool table room. Nowhere to sit on? Not any other way of entertainment? Also there is a lot of unused space, almost to the level of the 600i, I hope that’s the space they will use in those “changes” they said they had to do to the ship before its release. I couldn’t imagine spending a year on that ship without hitting a wall with my head repeatedly till I eventually pass out. I’m pissed off because I have purchased one ofc.
We need more vehicles to come down the pipeline for all the great planet gameplay we will have when all 100 star systems drop soon. Que up more land sales, and add prefab mining, buildings to the store we can buy. Update the concierge for 30k, 35k and up investors with more free stuff.
