Hi, while reviewing this vid, I felt copious amounts of cringe saying things that weren't even remotely close to being correct within the scope of Pokemon, don't be too harsh in comments, I am pokemon noob.
@@Is_Mango that eternatus is NOT scripted, its normal so the fact he found it epic shiny, 5% chance when you roll a shiny, and that he didnt have any charms makes it a 1/4092 chance iirc
I am crying so hard at the RED SHINY ETERNATUS. Like omg, I honestly think I would have held the save file and never touch it ever again just in case I can capture it in 500 years or so (you need to have every starter to catch it)
@@Da_pibe Yeah it is, you can capture the mons in the last area if you have unlocked them as a starter (eggs for most). To get Eternatus as a starter you need to have every single other starter unlocked. Then you can catch Eternatus at the end of the game, especially worth if it's a fucking red shiny. Seriously I HAVE NEVER SEEN A RED SHINY this guy is so lucky and he just killed it 😭
I think he could have caught it... by saving the run and coming back to it after unlocking the whole dex in however many months. Honestly, worth setting aside a save slot for imo.
Was checking the Party Crashers channels right after playing this game. Also, if you’re a “noob,” there are a few ways to learn the game that can really help, and that I often use: -Use Bulbapedia to see data about certain Pokémon. It’s particularly helpful for base stats and movesets. I use it all the time when I question a Pokémon’s viability. -You probably won’t win your first run, as the game is designed to beat you down. You may have figured this out already, but refreshing the page is a viable option to try and salvage a run. It won’t always be possible, though. I do it because I like seeing runs to the end. -Don’t focus solely on attacking moves. Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, Quiver Dance, Calm Mind, and Bulk Up are great for sweepers (the Pokémon that do most of the killing.) Defensive moves such as Protect, Detect, Light Screen, and Reflect, Status inflicting moves such as Thunder Wave and Will-O-Wisp, and self-healing moves like Rest, Moonlight, and Synthesis are great options for support Pokémon. -Drugs are encouraged, both X-items and the bottled drugs i.e. Carbos or Protein. PP Up and PP Max (haha, PP) should also not be underestimated. There are probably several guides that are pretty good for giving out this information, and I know I look like a nerd telling you all of this, but this is coming from someone who has played generations 1-5 and 9, and some showdown as well. I’m not trying to say that you’re wrong if you don’t follow this, it’s just some pointers for someone who may find it helpful.
I ain’t ever watched a Sophist video, only ever seen the guy in MagicTheNoah videos, but this guy is actually entertaining as a stand-alone youtuber too.
Ok that thumb nail goes HARD!!!! Zagreus sophist looks bad ass! And also just a based game reference! And yeah poke rouge is a tuff game from what I have seen

30:28 YOOO BASED MUSIC CHOICE! I finished Trials of Mana like last month so i instantly recognized the music lmao. Funny cat editor is a very cultured and based person
Very nice editing on this one, especially during the intermissions. That first run reminds me of my early runs: start with oshawott, immediately regret it (it takes him 4-5 tackles to kill something 3 levels below him and he doesn't get a water-type move until level 7, but because he takes so long to kill he almost dies every fight you use him. He gets better later on once he gets razor shell and such, but it really stands out compared to something like say eevee with adaptability that can one shot 90% of the encounters in the first 20 floors), end up wiping on floor 20 because you rolled one of the first gen 5 gym leaders and they're for some reason very scary on floor 20. Mostly Cress and his basculin. It's hard to describe how it feels getting swept by a basculin of all things. Still trying to carry oshawott to a win because he's my favorite water starter. Still failing.
YOOOOO I NEVER THOUGHT I'D SEE THE DAY HE UPLOADED POKEROGUE. Love to see it man! P.S: HOLY SHIT THAT RED SHINY ETERNATUS 😭 HOW IS THIS MAN SO LUCKY YET SO UNLUCKY AT THE SAME TIME??
11:42 Not anymore this was a joke, do not kill me also epic shiny (red star) eternatus on (allegedly) the first time encountering it? pog, but also rip
I would laugh so hard watching the party crashes separately trying to beat the roguelike game, Hades, where whoever gets out of hell 5 times wins and each time you get extra punishments, that the other players created to make it even more difficult than the last. They would be so toxic and funny.
I wouldve been hella depressed after seeing that eternatus if I were you, not being able to catch it now sucks because the only way to catch is in classic which is harder to find shinies in
I had the strangest run earlier... I selected kangaskhan, Magnemite, and gothirita as my starting party. I was using the kang as an early carry and my first four rewards were candy jars... Four out of every five rewards following had a rare candy in the listing. Kangaskhan never dropped lower than ten levels above the cap for each new set and he ended up over a hundred levels higher than eternatus at the end. His fake out wiped out a cobalion with four health bars at one point.
So real quick the final boss was shiny. And in poke rogue their are different tiers of shinies...That was the highest tier of shiny at a 10% chance. The fact he saw that is fucking insane.
Yeah having the rarest pokemon in pokerogue be the rarest rarity on his first run might ruin his luck for the rest of his life. The fact that chat didnt immediately stop him and convince him to do another run disappoints me.
hypothetically as well, you could possibly shiny hunt eternatus via endless mode, have shiny charms, and complete the pokedex, and then you should, hypothetically, be able to catch it
My first decently long run got killed by a Gigalith. That stone edge, unkillable, stealth rocking f@ker wiped out 3 of my pokemon right before a gym battle.
to be fair, save scumming is technically not cheating, as there is a setting in the game settings where you can turn on retries for trainer, legendary, and main story battles.
