Cheers Tony! I'm a working drummer, playing with lots of bands/artists particularly on the London circuit and very happy to be so. Thanks for watching and for the kind words!
@@MikeBarnesDrums I love your joy of drumming. If I may quote Todd Rudgren: “I don’t want to work, I want to bang on the drum all day.” I am a self taught drummer, a keyboard player and guitarist that inherited a set when my friend moved to Florida. Your playing is out of my league, but it lets me know the direction I want to head in.
@@gavinmealing9824 That is impressive. You are a very good player, I watch your videos and the videos don’t lie. I love watching you play. Your terrific and you play in many styles. Talent lives here!
Roland PM-100. It's good when you want to hear things in the room. But I'd personally always much prefer to use in-ears or cans🎧with this kit when practising/recording.

I've just come across this video while looking for the drum score. Excellently played Mike but I'd like to know what your e-kit is and is it connected straight into your Roland amp or are you triggering a plug in? Much appreciated.
Great practice for building speed for intermediate players for sure! If you ever go back to the acoustic kit (which hopefully won’t be too long away now) do you have much experience with drum brushes? It would be quite interesting to see a lesson or even cover with something other than regular sticks. Still, keep up the great content!
