I picked up a new Canyon Denali the other day. LOVING it so far. It’s gorgeous inside and out and has instant torque and feels just like a diesel. Also got a great deal on it. Almost 2k under MSRP with no dealer added scammy stuff such as nitrogen, etching, and all of the other stuff that’s been so common since 2020.
I own a 2016 Canyon All-Terrain, I have t he 3.6 V6 and have put +156,000 miles on it. Brake upgrades; rear at 60k and 110k, front at the 100k, water pump replaced at 110k. It averages 17-18mpg city, 21 mpg hwy. I've had two warranty issues within the first six months of ownership which were repaired by the dealer within one day. The drivers seat cover has some wear but overall an exceptional truck. I like the metallic bronze shown here and my plan is to purchase a 2023-24 AT4 or Denali by years end. That bronze is a beautiful color! 😂😂😊
Beautiful truck. I think GMC and Chevy did a fantastic job on these new Canyons/Colorado’s. But, price is outrageous and for a mid size truck it should bet up to 25 mpg in my opinion.
I agree great looking truck the only problem is above 70 mph the front of the truck whistles did they test this at factory before releasing the vehicle?
Will the ventilated seat function start with the remote start if it was on when the truck turned off. It’s damn hot here in Florida and I need that function.
hi What is the Payload for this particular truck ? The generic At4 has 1550lb payload. But this particular truck has tech package, sunroof and interior package which makes the truck very much similar to Denali ... so I am just curious payload package with this combination ... note : my same truck is coming soon ... finger crossed
It fits the definition of a mid size truck though. It's not big at all. A friend of mine bought one of these and its definitely smaller than full-size pick up
Your last comment makes no sense. CAFE is Corporate Average Fuel Economy. The regulations have been getting stricter, so a size increase would be counter to achieving better fuel economy. The engines getting smaller is do the CAFE.
@@zzmkdw CAFE regulations are based on the area of the vehicles footprint in the light truck category (suv's and cuv's are categorized as light trucks under the epa's rules). The larger the vehicles wheelbase and track in the light truck category, the easier it is to meet the requirements. This rule does not apply to passenger vehicles and is the a reason Ford and GM stopped producing sedans and station wagons. It is also the reason why they stopped making the small 2 door regular cab short bed pickup like the Ranger and S10 of the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's. We are just now starting to see a resurgence of the small pickup truck category due to demand and the hybrid engine technology. A gasoline powered pickup the size of a 1995 Chevy S10 would need to achieve around 45 mpg to meet CAFE requirements while a full size 2023 Chevy Silverado full size pickups CAFE requirement is much less.
You should be able to electronically deactivate child rear door lock, not have to do it manually, from outside, also, no turn signal lights on rear view mirrors? It’s a $ 55-60K truck. Otherwise a looker, and quite capable off road, drive it, very impressive drivetrain.
You have got to be kidding on that price.😂 holy shit. This is something else. Ill stick to my 99 Sonoma i guess. Thought this was the year i was gunna upgrade. But every price seems to be through the roof. Looks great was excited. Oh well.

Awesome, been looking at Canyons myself. Any tips when negotiating or just when considering a Canyon? Thanks!
Hello?? What did u pay? And how ya like it?

This New Canyon is The Best Yet! GMC has really got it going on. Thanks for sharing
It's not much of a work truck with a 4 cyl. engine. That engine will not last if you do a lot of trailering.
Mid size truck more expensive than a fully loaded sierra from 2016…. What … the….. fuck….. that transcends inflation.
Facts. It 2018 I was looking at a Sierra Denali and it was $54k. Truck prices have gotten way out of control
Beautiful truck. I think GMC and Chevy did a fantastic job on these new Canyons/Colorado’s. But, price is outrageous and for a mid size truck it should bet up to 25 mpg in my opinion.
My 2020 ranger gets 23mpg
I'm not loving the wheels. For a midsize off road truck I wish the rear seats completely folded down.
I agree great looking truck the only problem is above 70 mph the front of the truck whistles did they test this at factory before releasing the vehicle?
Very nice truck..I love it but it's too expensive,I would be willing to spend around 45k tops.
Nice truck, but it has 2 major problems:
1. Extremely overpriced
2. Long wait time to order/purchase
What people wont like is the fact if you want to move the truck in your driveway you have to wear the seat belt to get in in gear

Yes, there is a setting for this in the infotainment screen.
Oh yeah. My taco is no match to these. Need ac seats with remote. But don't want to paint out of a at4
How much off MSRP have people been getting ready to order one
hi

$53K?? who’d ever think we’d be paying north of 50 for a midsize??
You haven't priced a loaded denali full size, have you? 😆
Yeah, thought this was the year I was going to upgrade from my 99 Sonoma. Not with this price.😂🤣🤣🤣
You think they are going down in the future???? When you bought the 99 sonoma a McDonald's hamburger was 39 cents
Right before Covid this price got you a full sized Sierra Denali. Truck prices have gotten out of control.
Great review, as always! Always enjoy your vehicle reviews!
Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to watch. 🙌
this color is fuckin sick!
An AT4 trim should have the full screen.. Simply more appealing to drive
Next year
Awesome Video Tom
Those are the 20" wheels
Vehiclevisonary I love your videos
It’s nice
Checked one out the other day, the most uncomfortable back seat I’ve ever sat in.
Do you drive from the backseat
@mrbigblue7
When you sit in the back seat your back is almost vertical
Today I saw a 2019 chevi. Truck at a used car lot here in Indianapolis. That wax instead of paint is not working.
I anticipate a lot of problems with this engine and that is especially true if there is a lot of trailering.
It's more of a full size truck than a mid size truck. Light trucks have been increasing in size since the early 2000's due to CAFE regulations.
When it can fit my family comfortable like my 20 Nissan Titan pro 4x XD or a ram 1500 or f150 then I would consider buying a midsize truck.
It fits the definition of a mid size truck though. It's not big at all. A friend of mine bought one of these and its definitely smaller than full-size pick up

Why not buy an f150 XL 4x4 six cylinder that can haul & tow much more for the same price or less?
My STX 2.7 has a similar tow rating to this truck and is much larger
It depends on the rear end ratio
Beautiful, but 53k is way too much!

Vehiclevisonary can you do a video on a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC300
With thr money you pay, no grab handles to use. Rear seats don't fold all the way down. Doesn't make sense
This truck has the 20s option...
Its crazy the rear seat doesn't fold down. Typical GM effort.

This is a new world we live in where everything cost twice as much , we have democrats to thank for that. Thank you Joe
❤GMC❤
I just dont like brown trim on the seats and dash
Make it stick.😁much better 😁😁
God that MPG is terrible
Gas mileage sucks my ranger gets 23mpg constantly
To Much Money For A Truck ! I Rather Pay $30,000.
Too bad they’re all coming up with dead batteries and infotainment screens.
Found a at4 for 41k
That is a far more realistic price.
@@VehicleVisionary I love your videos
That color is called puke metalic.
