I waited too long to harvest seeds and had lettuce growing everywhere around the garden. 😆 I wonder if our lettuce crosses with wild lettuce over time. 🤔 Wild lettuce is pretty good too.
Thorough video thank you. It there a time that you should harvest your lettuce before “bolting” or would it just decide your trying to kill let let me grow these seeds right quick? And after it bolts it’s no longer ideal to eat right?
I am a beginner gardner (year 2) and I am sooo glad that I came across your channel. You explain everything sooo well. Thanks!

Love the channel. I live in north Alabama and have the same red clay. What did you till into your soil to grow plants in the red clay that good?
Thank you Family!!! We used grass clippings, compost, and top soil. Thank you for stopping by and watching!!!💚🌱

Wonder what percent of them will germinate when re-planted. I've had instances where less than 30% of harvested seeds germinated.
That's strange. Are you sure you weren't harvesting too early? Mine have a very high germination rate.
ok so basically you allow plants to die/ and harvest seeds right???
