About 3 years ago, I purchased the Acrobat Pro X, and all of a sudden it stopped working a few months later. After reading a lot about the issue, I found out many other users were having exactly the same problem for years. Contact adobe sh***y support, and to my surprise, I was told they stopped providing support to the purchased Acrobat Pro X, and the only solution would be paying monthly for the subscription version of the Acrobat Pro. Stay away from Adobe, there are other options out there. Kudos to the CEO Shantanu Narayen for the horrendous customer care for the company's nasty business practices!

I am hoping to create my own curriculum on PDF and I was wondering if you have any more suggestions that might help me. Such as adding cartoon-like graphics or pages that resemble scrolls, etc. to make the lessons engaging. I'm not sure what to do first. Should I create a Word document and convert it to PDF? Also, have you produced a video on advanced PDF skills?
I have acrobat Pro with my adobe subscription. I use to use this software all the time but to tell you the truth, i have no idea as to what I am looking at now. My controls look nothing like yours and I do not see a menu. I've been at this for several hours and I still can't highlight a section of text which is all I wanted to do in the first place. When I select the highlighter, and try to select a few pieces of text to highlight, it selected 5-6 rows in a column. I am using a apple MAC M2, and it also does the same thing on my PC in the same type screen. They have made this so complicated. My screen looks nothing like yours does at 3:06.

I am a senior and so not technical and am having issues with computers. I love to download digital papers for scrapbooking but dont know how to resized them or if they come as pdf I dont know how to open them. Is there another video that shows how to do this? I am new to Adobe. I am taking an online course and need to know what Adobe program to download to be able to fill in quizzes and texts onto a PDF file created by the Professor.

I successfully used it to send 1 or 2 contracts to clients.. but THEN I mistakenly forgot to cancel my subscription after the trial period and they've now tied me to a YEARLY plan. When I tried to cancel the subscription I was sent a notification that I'd be charged $100+ for my cancellation. That is wild!! I now have to keep this subscription for the next couple of months so came to this video to find ways of utilising it so that my monthly payment to Adobe isn't wasted. I'm still not sure what Acrobat Pro can offer me that platforms such as Docusign or Panda cannot. Hopefully, this video ca enlighten me...

Adobe Acrobat XI has far superior GUI. New one looks like a 5 year old got a hold of it. 2012 called and said this is the best acrobat hands down.

If you have a Mac, you have *Preview* which let's you do most of what Acrobat does, much faster, but without the cost, and the painful UI.
I cannot see how to edit a PDF text because the caption is blocking what you're doing. How do I edit an existing text?
