As far as people saying you shouldn't be doing coffins, they can mind their own business. You do whatever you want, Steve, I'll keep on watching you regardless.
Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday!!! I leave some filigree skulls up in my bedroom year round!! If people have a religious aversion to symbols or items that’s fine, they are free to choose not use those symbols but they need to remember that is NOT how these things are being presented and others have their choice too as to what the symbols represent. One of the wonderful freedoms this country is built upon. We support freedom of religion and choice and do not tell others they are wrong because they made a different choice. I very much enjoy learning about all the wonderful different beliefs people have! Very cute project!! I love the effect the steel wool has, and the little bubble on the coffin rim makes it looked well used and old. As if whoever inhabited the coffin placed its hand there to climb in and out! Another terrific project!! Thanks Steve!
The coffin did come out fantastic, the hand was amazing it was so tiny & realistic ❣ I really loved the sugar skulls 💀 ❣ They would be fabulous in glo in the dark paint 🎨 ❣
I love it!! I think that coffin mold would be great for the Day Of The Dead festivities, as well!! Especially with a happy skeleton dressed up in party clothes inside!!!!
Perfect timing for this video. Viewers have time to order components and create pieces before Halloween. Tiny coffins do not bother me - no way can I fit so it isn't a threat to me.
I grew up around coffins. My Dad was a funeral director and our house was attached to the funeral parlor. To us coffins are just a normal decoration. Love the look of your piece. Thanks for a great tutorial.
I like the coffin and the effects of the aluminium. I wish you had brushed some color into the details of the day of the dead skulls though, or colored them somehow after they were made to show the eyes etc
Awesome projects! And I am glad you create what speaks to you. Some people are quite stuffy... but I say go for it!! It keeps the channel interesting. 👏👏👏👏
I have made a variety of coffins and give them as small gifts (filled with candy) to my co-workers. I make those for 'non-halloween' folks in pastel colors. I just ordered the aluminum powder and am eager to have a play!
I love the halloween video. The coffin with the cross on it are beautiful! It seems you are posting more frequently lately. I'm always so excited when I turn on youtube and see you have a new video up. The whole house has to stop watching tv to see what you are doing.
Steve, this is the coolest look, with the aluminum powder. I bought some a while back, have no idea what I did with it! I just got some new Halloween molds in. They've been trickling in since summer. Love Halloween 🎃
I have tried to buy the aluminum powder and at checkout Resincolour said that they couldn't calculate shipping to my address...and I can't find any shipping info on their website. I'm in Canada and I would LOVE your powders! I want to try the cold casting, you make it look so cool.
I want that coffin mould for pigments, a tiny skull on one end with the pigment or mica colour, one metal powder for pigments one for mica and a magnet ...maybe a thin one in some uv at each end or side and viola
Hiya Steve, quick question to ask - where did you get the little ghost moulds from? They look super cool,, and I would love to get some myself. Any chance of letting us know please, most appreciated.
I think everything turned out great! I love the coffin and the cross that you put on it. I'm a little confused though. When you put the cross on the coffin they all looked red. When you came back they looked kind of silver. I'm not quite sure how that happened. The lighting maybe?
I used to work at a mtg plant where we made motorcycle windshields and the deburring tool was a must! (We called them whirlybirds)! :) I use mine all the time for resin because it really does work fantastically to remove extra resin!
I had some issues with the mold set from Amazon. The first issue was the sides of the coffin mold bowed out from the weight of the resin, I should have anticipated this and braced the sides of the mold, which solved the problem. The bigest problem was with the rectanular mold which destroyed my silicone mat, warping it beyond repair. I don't understand why this happened (posibly not fully cured or type of mold matterial) but a warning to your followers to not place this mold directly on a silicone mat. I do like the mold and have used them several times. Happy resining.
I’m wanting to order that stuff from you but I’m wondering how long would it be before I get it. I’m in the USA Florida to be exact if you can let me know thanks
I bought a molds and it's a very thin it's the skeleton hand and I can't figure out how to get the resin in the little cracks and grooves if that makes sense
My mica powders are sticking to my molds. When I use resin into my molds the powder doesn’t stay on the resin. They just come out with a very little amount of powder. What’s wrong?
Funny isn’t it? People are strange. My man said I shouldn’t try to sell coffin and scull jewellery to children. But it’s for Halloween!! My goodness. 😀
I guess I'm a little morbid, I like the shape of coffins in general and, being Areligious and even Pagan-minded, I like skulls and skeletons too. Not real ones 😐 of course!
I could be wrong .. I believe Candy or Sugar Skulls are more All Saint's Day decorations and have meaning in Latin cultures? In any case, I love them any time of year.
I've seen them more often/traditionally used for the Mexican "Dia de los Muertos," or "Day of the Dead" than for anything else but people seem to use them just for general decoration/artwork these days.
The coffin box is the perfect thing to put people’s negative judgments into.
Coffins are a personal taste. I say more please, those nea sayers need to keep their opinions to themselves. Love the metal look.❤️🇦🇺👍
I love love love the coffin!!! (PS... whoever said don't do coffins... tell them PFFFTTTT!! Mind your own business) 😉

coffins looked really nice, liked the slight imperfections-provided an aged , or used look
It must have been the lighting because when you were burnishing the coffin, it looked like chocolate. Lol
Agreed….I was wondering where the brown come from
I was thinking this too! It looked very coppery then suddenly it was very silver! I love it so much though!! What a cool idea for a treat box!
Nothing wrong with making coffins I make them all year round :)
I loved how the coffin came out with the pieces missing. Made it look older. Loved it.
I think it would look cool if some of those things were to have a glow in the dark pigment in them as well.
The coffin did come out fantastic, the hand was amazing it was so tiny & realistic ❣
I really loved the sugar skulls 💀 ❣ They would be fabulous in glo in the dark paint 🎨 ❣
The Ghosties and coffin are fab x
Yeah that coffin is cool. I like watching your experiments.
Yes, Learning how to set up a RUclips channel would be great As well as the different types of resin and best uses for them all in one place
Love the coffin. The little skulls would make great cameo style cufflinks or earrings.
Coffins work fantastic with one of them batterie operated lights in them to
Love the PU resin myself
I love it!! I think that coffin mold would be great for the Day Of The Dead festivities, as well!! Especially with a happy skeleton dressed up in party clothes inside!!!!

I absolutely love all of these! I wonder how the skulls and such would look with a glow in the dark powder added? Hmm ideas, ideas!! Thank you Steve!

A coffin is now in my list of molds!
Amazing effects, I really need to get some of that aluminium powder!
I have made a variety of coffins and give them as small gifts (filled with candy) to my co-workers. I make those for 'non-halloween' folks in pastel colors. I just ordered the aluminum powder and am eager to have a play!
Amazing as always. Thank you.

O, you could add the skeleton hand on the inside of the coffin with the fingers curved over and just peaking out of the side.
Great project !👍👍
Love it! I have coffin mold too n my friends luv it when I make it ... white n red made it look like it was bleeding ☠🖤💜👍🐈⬛

Love the coffin ⚰️
Love the coffin Steve, and the skulls etc would make great embellishments for loads of different things I’m going to try them on a chest
Nice job!
Love it
I bought a burning tool and am still getting used to it. I'm going to take your advice and make smaller swipes. Thanks, Steve.
@@SteveMcDonaldArtsandCrafts I just noticed that the spell check decided that the word was burning, not burnishing. Oh well, you knew what I meant.
Love it! 💖💖💖👏👏👏🇦🇺
I want so of these molds.
Steve, this is the coolest look, with the aluminum powder. I bought some a while back, have no idea what I did with it! I just got some new Halloween molds in. They've been trickling in since summer. Love Halloween 🎃
Coffin and others stuff is great. What is Halloween without coffins….lol
The skulls would look good with a reflective powder - I'm sure there is such a thing? :-)
I have tried to buy the aluminum powder and at checkout Resincolour said that they couldn't calculate shipping to my address...and I can't find any shipping info on their website. I'm in Canada and I would LOVE your powders! I want to try the cold casting, you make it look so cool.

Lol!! Commenting about the skeleton hand then all of a sudden you pull it out!! Lol
Hiya Steve, quick question to ask - where did you get the little ghost moulds from? They look super cool,, and I would love to get some myself. Any chance of letting us know please, most appreciated.
I'd love to have the ghost molds too! They'd look awesome with glow in the dark resin :D
love love love skulls and crosses...but never really been into coffins and sugar skulls...weird huh?...

Do you use the steel wool instead of sandpaper or is it a different process? 🇦🇺🙏🥰
I seriously need to order some of that powder. Is the shipping insane to America???

hi Steve love the channel.. have you heard of Sophie & toffee (if not look them up you will love them lol) would love to see you do one of their kits
I’m wanting to order that stuff from you but I’m wondering how long would it be before I get it. I’m in the USA Florida to be exact if you can let me know thanks
So do you reckon polyurethane is better than epoxy? I’ve only used epoxy and don’t want to waste money if it isn’t going to work well in moods?
Good sir, is "squidgy widgey" a technical term? Kind of like thingybobber and whatsaqhoozit?
❤️
I can't imagine why anyone would object to this.
My man did when I made coffin and scull items from resin recently. Strange how you never really know people completely- even after 10 years.
I bought a molds and it's a very thin it's the skeleton hand and I can't figure out how to get the resin in the little cracks and grooves if that makes sense
I like the sugar skull molds, can’t find a link for those 🙁 (I’m in Canada)
🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹

Yes definitely a personal taste! Unfortunately Iam not a fan 😬😳😧! But your projects no matter what something to be learned always 🥰
Maybe I am having a brain fart but you said you added 50% of the the aluminum color to the PU resin. 50% of what?
Are candy skulls really Halloween though? Personally I don't like em but it is just my opinion ;) . But I love the coffin!
I could be wrong .. I believe Candy or Sugar Skulls are more All Saint's Day decorations and have meaning in Latin cultures? In any case, I love them any time of year.
@@alcg3981 Yeah I knew it was something like that thanks ;) lol

I’ve made a couple what would you say is a good price to sell the resin is expensive .
Well mine look awesome nearly 40ml I reckon as I’m a buisness $60.00 as it’s hand made with love and perfect all of my coffins turned out awesome
