Embarking on a life-changing psychedelic journey with ketamine therapy requires careful consideration of various factors. In this video, we discuss the 8 essential factors you should keep in mind when choosing a ketamine clinic for ketamine infusion therapy, ketamine therapy for depression, and ketamine for anxiety:
Ensure the clinic offers a free consultation to determine if you're a suitable candidate for ketamine therapy. Ketamine treatment for depression and anxiety can be a transformative experience, but not everyone is an ideal candidate. Before committing to the process, make sure the clinic takes the time to evaluate your specific needs and situation.
The clinic should provide a dedicated consultation to learn about your medical history, reduce risks, and set intentions. Proper preparation is vital for a healing psychedelic medicine journey, especially if it's your first time. The clinic should be committed to understanding your background, identifying potential risks, and helping you set clear intentions for your ketamine treatment.
Avoid clinics that leave you alone during your infusion; proper guidance is crucial for a therapeutic experience. IV ketamine infusion can be a powerful tool for personal growth, but only if the clinic provides the necessary support and guidance. Make sure the clinic staff is trained and experienced in guiding patients through their psychedelic journey, ensuring a safe and beneficial experience.
Be cautious of clinics discussing booster sessions as the norm, as expectations can influence your mindset during the journey. While booster sessions can be helpful for some patients, they shouldn't be presented as a standard part of ketamine therapy for depression or anxiety. Having realistic expectations is essential for a successful journey, so choose a clinic that is transparent about the process and potential outcomes.
Look for experienced professionals with critical care training, psychological expertise in psychedelics, and a collaborative approach to care. Ketamine infusion therapy requires a delicate balance of medical and psychological support. Ensure the clinic staff has the necessary training in anesthesiology or emergency medicine, along with expertise in psychedelic medicine and mind-body practices. A collaborative approach to care, where doctors work with your existing healthcare team, can also improve the effectiveness of your ketamine treatment.
Opt for clinics that offer easy access to doctors for support outside of infusion sessions. Feeling supported throughout your ketamine therapy journey is essential, and that means having access to your doctors whenever you need them. Avoid clinics that make it difficult to get in touch with their medical professionals, and prioritize those that encourage open communication and collaborative care.
Ensure the clinic emphasizes the importance of integration for lasting changes and doesn't solely focus on booster sessions. Integration is a critical aspect of psychedelic medicine, particularly in the 24-48 hours following each infusion when neuroplasticity is believed to be at its peak. Choose a clinic that prioritizes the integration process, helping you make lasting changes and avoid becoming reliant on booster sessions.
Don't rush into signing up if you're not ready or if your questions haven't been adequately addressed. Your readiness to begin the journey is paramount, and any apprehensions, concerns, or doubts can impact your healing experience. Be cautious of clinics that pressure you to sign up quickly, and make sure all your questions and concerns are addressed before committing to ketamine treatment for depression or anxiety.
Join us as we explore each factor in detail and provide you with the guidance you need to make an informed decision about your ketamine therapy journey. This video will help you navigate the world of psychedelic medicine and ensure you find the best ketamine clinic for your unique needs.

    1. Candidacy…not everyone is a candidate for this tx
    2. Preparation…mindset , intention and expectation are essential
    3. Guiding….you are trusting yourself to your doctor. You need to make sure you re not being abandonned during the process
    4. Expectation…your mindset before you start is a predictor of how it s going to tapping into your inner potential
    5. The doctor…board certified anesthesiologist or ER medicine with psychological training/fellowship training, willing to collaborate with the rest of your healing team..the right dose for you to heal. One size is not fit all
    6. Access to your doctor …immediately throughout the treatment if needed to be connected. Red flag of no way of reaching after the infusion
    7. Integration…you want to integrate this with your mind body and heart. The brain is rewiring during 24-48h, tapping into your inner healing potential so it is as effective as possible and so you do not revert to your previous state
    8. Never feel pushed or coverted in this experience. If you have doubts, feel guilty, apprehensions, fear…you will torpedo your ability to tap in you inner healing potential. You need to feel confident and ready about this process. The right people, environment, comforting.
    👍♥️🌹

Ketamine, lsd, dmt and psilocybin containing mushroom are amazing. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my wife which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 6 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

I always admire those who beat their addiction. Knowing it's possible to fix your life knowing there's people out there that have done what I thought was impossible gives me hope I will make it through as well. Those who share their experiences don't know how much it helps when you're about to give up, it gives you the strength knowing somone who actully know what it's like to go through this tell you it's possible, it's not the same somone telling you you can do it when they have no idea what it's like, but hearing somone who knows what it's like that helps a lot since you understand it firsthand and made it out gives so much hope. so thanks for sharing.

I have struggled with mental illness and my mental health since I was a kid. Before I even knew what those terms were. After years of depression, anxiety, and even an attempt to take my life, I never thought I would be able to live without psych medications. I clung to them because it was the only thing that made my mind quiet, but it also made me a zombie. Microdosing has given me control of my mental health for the first time, and they essentially gave me my life back.

Ketamine changed my life. I had major depression for over 40 years. I have been seeing a psychiatrist for 35 years. Over those years we tried everything, every medication and all other treatments except electrical shock, but that was next. My psychiatrist studied up on ketamine and really thought that it might work for me because it works on the brain in a totally different way. I found a really good doctor here in Palm Springs, Ca. After 6 infusions my depression was 100% gone ! It’s now been several months since my last infusion, and I am still doing great. I would suggest that you talk to your doctor and see if it might be a good option for you. There really is no downside.

I had ketamine therapy at a lovely clinic-after I lost my son from suicide (4 years ago) I got through the grief but was left with depression (as a result of PTSD from losing my son) I was aware that my brain was injured and medication, exercise, prayer and grief counseling just didn’t help.
The clinic I went to had very caring staff (all are Christians). They titrated the ketamine very carefully. It took all 6 treatments to cure my depression-and I mean CURED! I had two more treatments several months apart as well-but haven’t needed one in a very long time. The clinic I went to was in Monroe, Michigan. I probably paid about $3200 for the six treatments but was worth every cent! The six treatments were done within two weeks (for best outcomes)
Praying for all that suffer from depression-hang in there! Blessings!!!

My beautiful clinic called me today because I had a change in my charting. Looking out for me, top notch compassion. It’s always been my choice of when I am treated which in itself is healing. Boosters where an option, but not required. I needed boosters, still do, but less and less each year. I keep growing and healing. I am currently taking a deep dive into breathwork, which might be my key for not needed it anymore, still it’s nice to know I never have to be in the depths of emotional pain again. I am so grateful for ketamine.

@@wulfsorenson8859 I am not sure how to answer the response to bumblebee5990 because some people don't need any boosters at all after the first 6 infusions but the other thing is you might also need to take steps in your life such as take care of yourself to avoid falling back into depression again. Therapy after you feel good can help with that but also making other positive changes in your life is important. Reset Ketamine channel on youtube provides a list of things you can do to support healing after the infusions. That makes sense. Don't just take the infusions and think you don't have to do any other work besides that. I think it depends on the person and some people will need the boosters but clinics should not say everyone needs them. They need to be careful how they word things. They shouldn't say nobody needs them because some people do. I mean if you don't want to do anything positive in your life and spend more money on maintenance boosters then that is fine. Lori Calabrese, MD also has articles and she said maintenance boosters aren't required in most cases but she also believes in infrastructure changes to support well being.

Went to a Ketamine clinic for chronic pain. They just hooked me up to the IV, turned out the lights and left me alone. Sure, my pain was totally gone during the treatment, but came back as soon as it wore off. Secondly, despite the fact that my insurance pays for the therapy and the drug itself (which is rare) they refused to keep on. The thing is, psychedelics have been used for millions of years, but the "guide", or therapist, is the KEY to the therapy working! These people just wanted cash payments, like "legal" drug dealers!

When I'm done self administering, they leave me alone for like an hour and a half, coming in to check on me two or three times.

I’ve heard this treatment works only temporarily. It wears off after a few weeks then you need more…forever. And each infusion 1000k too 🤑

What is your take on CRNAs administrating the ketamine?

    • @tommouritsen4559
      @tommouritsen4559 4 месяца назад

I’m guessing since he is a anesthesiologist he would hate CRNAs doing this. A red flag for any anesthesiologist is a CRNA, why? Because it is bad for business. The reality is CRNAs are administering more ketamine on a daily basis than Anesthesiologists in our country. The age old debate about how one was trained in the anesthesia world is a tired argument. Studies show outcomes for patients are not improved by having Anesthesiologist vs CRNA administering the anesthetic.

I'm looking into ketamine clinic. In Greenwood, IN, there is a clinic called Klarity.
Do you know if this is a well known and good clinic? I have read all the information on it and it is run by an anesthesiologist. I would like your opinion if you know of this clinic.
It would make me feel more comfortable going in.
Thank you very much for your time.

I had to tell my primary that I am not doing Ketamine anymore in order to get her to treat me as a human, she was so pissed and refused too ever prescribe me any drugs for any health conditions because she doesn’t know anything about ketamine and she definitely did not approve of me having my life saved, she much prefers that I take drugs that nearly killed me. She wants me to be incoherent and semi unconscious, the effects of the drugs she likes for me, she does not care how I feel. The scary thing, her ignorance, and the sign on the door says surgery center. Is it normal for a doctor in a surgery centered practice to not know a common drug. She is really good at yelling, and ordering me around, and I dread to go near her. Unfortunately, a rare life threatening illnesses kinda has me stuck. Ugh, she might need it more than I do, does Ketamine work on Narcissists?

Curious if Ketamine infusions used to help with autism and OCD?

    • @MedicalSecrets

Great question! Autism: not that I'm aware of... OCD: emerging evidence. Recognize that many conditions RARELY exist in a vacuum, and ketamine may be able to treat comorbid depression/anxiety/etc. to improve the other conditions

A local pharmacist was recommending it for pain and had the booklet made up to take to our doctor. We were supposed to ask our doctor to prescribe it. I never asked for a prescription but this pharmacist was doing monthly meetings. Now I am shocked to find out what it was about. I thought it was a pill not an infusion
