I’m glad I’m not the only one who frequents grocery stores. Some bread, cheese, an apple, and maybe a little wine, make a lovely picnic.
It’s also fun to see the different snacks offered if you’re visiting a foreign country!
Using packing cubes is a must for me with the organization they provide.
I really like your 7-5-3-1 formula for packing a light capsule wardrobe.
You just gained a new subscriber. I look forward to future content.
Ah I definitely agree that packing cubes are a travel essential! And thank you for your feedback :) I’m always hoping to provide something useful for traveler ☺️ and thanks for subscribing, it means a lot 🤠
You can also wear your heaviest shoes and clothing items when on the plane that helps with the weight of your carry-on. Leave your lightest items in your luggage. It might seem like common sense but it’s something that’s often overlooked. Like wear your jeans and boots and if it’s too warm to wear your sweatshirt then tie it around your waist or hold it. It saves space in your bag too. 😊
Hey Katelyn, thanks for sharing! I agree that it's all too easy to forget the simple tips, but they can make all the difference!
Great tips for travel. The reusable grocery bag is a great idea when traveling abroad, because most don't use plastic bags and I found last trip that we ended up with more coming home, so we used the grocery bag as carry on item with our small back pack and checked the bags for going home, cause who cares when that makes it home, lol.
Thanks! ☺️ yah, I discovered that most places don’t use plastic as well my first trip… and relatable with checking your bags 😂 at this point, i always just hope to have my stuff by the time my next trip occurs 🥲
Good tips. I just discovered compression packing cubes. They definitely help you fit more. You just need to be careful with weight as you said. I also stick to one or two colors and add color with accessories. It helps to minimize pieces while maximizing outfits. Thanks!
Thank you! ☺️ and I’ve debated getting compression packs/vacuumed sealed bags since I know you have to typically tote around the vacuum pump. But I bet it’s worth bringing for longer trips with only one or two destinations!
And using neutral colors is a great tip! I try to do the same but find it can be rough when most of my clothes are full of colors and patterns 😂
@@kristinleevlogs great video! I purchased zipped compression bags this year and they’re fantastic. You don’t need a pump, they have an extra zipper in the design of the bag and it compresses clothes nicely.
@@aoefeable Thanks so much and thank you for sharing your experience with the zipper compression bags! I've never seen those before but will have to give them a try :)
@@kristinleevlogs My pleasure! 😀
Loving the consistency in your uploads. Keep it up!
Thanks 🤠
I love the hair tie tip! Great idea!
Thanks! ☺️ As someone who used to regularly lose a hair tie every time I turned left or right, it definitely has saved me a couple trips to target to buy new hair ties 😂
Great video! Thank you!!
Thanks for the kind feedback! :) and happy to help!
Great video!
Thank you! :)
Just made my packing list. Going to UK in 3 weeks. Have been taking carry-on for the past 20 years. It’s so much easier to lug around. Isn’t it fun rehearsing packing? Great tips!
Good on you for creating your packing list well in advance :) I'm also headed to London in about 3 weeks for a tennis tournament, small world!
And yes, traveling out of a carry-on is always the way to go if you can help it! Especially if you hop from destination to destination, managing only a carry-on is much less stressful.
Thanks for the feedback! Glad the tips helped you!
@@kristinleevlogs Hope your tennis tournament goes well. When you laid your clothes out, so do I. I even take photos of my mix and match outfits. Love that there’s someone else out there who’s a practical traveller.
@@AnneMB955 thank you! And I do the same thing, whatever it takes to make traveling easier and ultimately less stressful!
Have a fantastic trip!
thanks for sharing
My pleasure! Hope it was helpful and planning on making a part 2 for this summer's travel season :)
Great video
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback :)
Easyjet is not super stingy! it is mid range! also there is not one single new tip or hack! these are all common knowledge and common sense ideas that have been around for years now! it is disembark not deplane! and it is 3.4 oz -100ml
1. Easy jet is a low-cost budget airline and the company is registered as such. I called them stingy based on my experiences since they always weigh your bags.
2. I never claimed they were new and ground breaking hacks lol. I simply was sharing what I found to be cheap, easy and helpful for traveling. Not everyone is well versed in the travel world. So, if nothing is new for you, call yourself fortunate that you have traveled a lot or have the knowledge already. Perhaps you can share some brand new travel tips with the travel community :)
3. Disembark and deplane are synonymous. Deplane is the American terminology commonly used, so perhaps you’re from a different culture or language that’s why it’s different for us.
4. Yes that’s my mistake, and I forgot to edit the correction. That said, if you’re purchasing travel sized containers anyways, they are usually designed already to fit within the liquid restrictions.
Hope this addresses all your concerns! Have a nice day.
