What I have learned over the years, moving from house to house, you can always make things work...even if it isn't your thing right off the bat, you can always be creative...my current kitchen counters are like hunter green and I made it work...
Madison in the end it matters what YOU LIKE!! This is your home and you can make whatever color choices you want...Make sure you make changes you want and not feel bullied...My kitchen is black with stainless appliances and bamboo accents because that's what I wanted..You do you Sweetie, as long as your family is ok with it that's all that matters...

Madison, give yourself some grace moving is not easy, it will take time to get things the way you and your family want them. I have not home schooled in about 7 years and I just finally decluttered the last closet full of mixed things.

I think people get emotionally involved and they forget that this isn’t their house. You could paint your cabinets in zebra stripes. It’s your house and you want to be happy living there. You do you and don’t worry about everyone else! I actually love green cabinets and was thinking of painting mine a lighter green. Can’t wait to see your finished result!
I feel bad that people were stealing your joy. Moving is so exciting. I was shocked at the color you picked but that’s none of my business, being kind is my business. Also you have to wait and see the end product. Your vision may be on target. If you love then I love it. I think your other house was standard colors and that’s what we expected. The green may look different on camera too than in person . I’m sure it will be tastefully done based on how nice your old house was.

Creativity is a gift and our homes express our love for the family that comes in and out every day. It has to be to your taste which is what makes it yours. Focus on your dreams and let others get their own vibe going in their home. How boring would life be if we were all exactly alike is my question? I personally love my guest bathroom that we just remodeled in a dark green and the flooring just brought it all together! I get lots of compliments on it but even if I didn't; we still love it. Sometimes you just have to turn the page to read the rest of your story. Keep reading and never stop~thanks and God bless you all with joy of what is to come!

I watch a lot of those renovation shows on tv and recently someone wanted green for their cabinets. I wouldn't have even considered green, but the cabinets turned out beautiful. Like many have said, it's your home. Do what makes you and your family happy. That's all that matters. Express yourself. Life is so short.

You're on a public platform....expect that opinions welcomed or not. You put yourself out there.....its not going to stop. Also for your sons room I would put the white dresser beside the bed and move what you are using where the white one is. It gives him more room and its more of a bedside dresser.
My point is I wasn’t expecting the NEGATIVE comments on that particular video. I have been on RUclips for many many years. I know what videos will likely get some negative feedback. I was just caught off guard with the amount of negative comments on that particular video.
