Rabbi respectfully, the situation in India is not caused by the Muslims but with the fascist govt which wants India to be a Hindu nation despite the fact India is a secular country as per it's Constitution. The govt is trying to persecute the Muslims , Christians,Jews based on their religious sentiments and bigotry. The 5000 Jews in India have lived very peacefully in this present time despite the fact our ancestors suffered during the Inquisition in the 1500s.. Chas v'shalom may it not happen again. Baruch Hashem.

8:00 i understand the hashkafa, but i would disagree with calling him a rasha because he raised up his hand, because by moshe they were fighting without consent, but here each one goes in with the knowledge that the other is allowed to hit him. R' Moshe feinstein has a responsa which even discusses the extreme case of whether a father can spar with a son, which can be very serious if the son injures the father until bleeding. Also if the person is doing this for parnasa then according to halacha there should be no problem. The problem i would say is that it is giving the appearance of giving legitimacy to the hashkofo of greece, as the rabbi himself mentions. But if the person is in that situation (eg if his whole life before he was religious spent his life becoming a fighter, and this is the best way to earn a livelihood) then he should make the most of it. The question then would be, is putting tzitzis actually a kiddush Hashem, or does it have the opposite effect of bringing legitimacy to the greek hashkofo, and i would agree that this would have a negative effect, especially as it would "cool off" the stigma in the eyes of jews and they might start watching and getting into it.

We always want to err on the side of judging other people. For myself I can talk about how enlightened I am (b'ezrat hashem, of course) but others, the question is how to condemn them. Ashreinu mah tov chelkeinu.

@@yisraelrice7649 rabbi reuven has the right idea, there needs to be a balance between giving the benefit of the doubt on one hand and not letting evil stay unchallenged. i think in this case after looking at more clips of mr manis friedman, that he is clearly contrdicting some of the 13 principles, but i still reserve judgement to whether he is simply a misguided person who wants to do outreach, or if he actually is a heretic. I have my own opinion on this but each person has to judge for themselves whether this person should have the benefit of the doubt (hint: look up the laws of a "mesis" one who persuades others to serve idolatry devarim 13))

Is there even such a thing in Judaism as being possessed ? Or is that a Christian thing ? Is it possible for a Jewish person to be possessed ? I find that when I'm angry I become like a totally different person , can't even recognize myself . I know in Orchot Tzaddikim it talks about anger being an actual sickness of the soul . Can you please clarify ? Thank you
