    It is too bad that the Sapphire Bank Debit Card is plastic and not the metal version like the Sapphire Credit Card

    No ATM fees traveling abroad. Right now only Schwab and Fidelity offer that perk. Glad to hear one of the big banks is getting into this.

    i upgraded to the sapphire banking. i am consolidating and transferring all my securities from other brokerages into Chase and that alone will be enough to get the 60k UR points, NO CASH NEEDED!

      And those points will add $600 of taxable income for you (Chase values them at 1 cent each because that's how much cashback you can redeem).

    This sounds like way more hassle than it's worth. With the lackluster (and getting worse) Priority Pass, Chase should prioritize solving for this competitive parity issue with Amex Platinum/Centurion Lounges instead. The Reserve card benefits are about T&E and many people already have a good financial advisor and banking platform.

  • @laguano

    25 dollar monthly fee unless you have $75,000 sitting in a measly interest earning checking account.
    This bank account is simply insulting. There are so many other great banks that offer more for much much less.

  • @jalabi99

    You should have asked her why they created the "One Sapphire" rule to prevent us from getting both the CSR and the CSP, and why they've extended the time to get another signup bonus to FOUR FREAKING YEARS. :(

    • @dh2266
      @dh2266 5 лет назад +2

      The ONLY reason to have both is for churning. Why should Chase allow that?

    • @jalabi99
      @jalabi99 5 лет назад

      It's not true at all that "the only reason to have both is for churning". And until they introduced the "One Sapphire" rule Chase _did_ allow having both cards.

    • @dh2266
      @dh2266 5 лет назад +2

      So without mentioning the signup bonus, how does having the CSP in addition to the CSR benefit anyone? The benefits are completely redundant and are overshadowed by those of the CSR.
