As someone who has dealt with psychosis and paranoid delusions. I have felt my mind slipping from reality. I can confirm that this isn’t exactly what it feels like, but it is very close. It gives you the feeling of “aww fuck here we go again”. But not in the action hero sense. It’s more of a NO NO NO NO NO PLEASE GOD HELP ME! sense. Another good song for that is Black Sabbath’s song Black Sabbath. It is special brand of hell and fear to know there’s nothing you can do but deal with it. You can do that, or you can end up a statistic. So far I haven’t become a statistic. But I will say the worst fear you will ever experience comes from your own mind.

I was dancing with the bunnies on the ceiling in my hospital bed. But another time I went off the deep end. Believed I was being hunted by Alien and Human hybrids. Full on seeing peoples faces transform into these weird eyeless humanoid things. Ranting about how they were coming to experiment on me. I’ve dealt with it for so long I’ve become kind of numb to it. Thats why I talk about it the way I do. I’m tired of dancing around it, and tired of fearing it. I can’t stop it even with medicine. The medicine helps of course. But it still can happen. So until things get dark, I choose not to fear it. Why be afraid of something you know you can’t change? Why let it control you like that? Besides, as long as I’m on my meds I can tell what’s real and what’s not. Even when I do see it.
