Excellent - an almost effortless 'plug-in/snipett' with so much to offer. Such an easy way to add some meaningful graphics to text, especially dashboards for individual projects... particularly the diabetes and storeyboard examples. (more on some of those perhaps) especially say as a multiple layer 'outline'. All credit to tfthacker for this work...
I was intrigued when I saw an article about Candy, but after watching your video it is a no brainier purchase. Also you have unwittingly correct my assumption. Goodness knows why but for some reason I thought TFT Hacker was a sudo name for you!
I got it! Unsure why i would want to insert css classes in my cards to make them change shapes and opacity when i can just use excalidraw but i supported tft hacker so thats my good deed for the day
I'd love to see you compare and contrast Canvas Candy with Excalibrain. What are the strengths and weaknesses of each? There is an investment to reach natural proficiency in each tool - so when would you recommend one over the other? Would you recommend using only one of these tools for consistency - or do both have their place in a toolkit?
I don't get how you "flattened" the cards so they're just a line. When I try to change it or create my own, they either don't go back to flat, or just don't.
IDK, not opposed to donating to people for their work when I have the money, but it seems like this could have been made so much more functional as a plugin -- which obviously couldn't be paywalled.... So I can see exactly the reason the functionality hasn't been pursued 🤑. Also another issue is that raw CSS markup isn't really copyrightable, so putting it behind a paywall is kinda silly in the first place.

Not confused - Canvas Candy is a plugin, it’s not the Obsidian software. But add a possessive, ex: Obsidian’s Canvas Candy (paid) Upgrade, for those who are confused. :)

I personally don't do much mind-mapping so I am not I would be the best person to do that video.

the style settings plugin adds functionality but I am sure TfT Hacker will appreciate the feedback

I have found the header and footer options reduce the size of my canvas and borders help me navigate quicker between cards of the same colour.
