- Waking up one morning seeing the horses working and turning the soil, inspired me to create a film and capture the beauty of this moment.
This song is from my Album Jackeroo.

Brings back memories to my childhood
what a voice, lucky enough to see him many years ago, may it continue.
I never tire of MWR
Wonderful words they transport you to times gone by ploughing with horses, brought alive by your voice Martyn thank you
enjoying the songs from the settle.🥰🌹
Lovely Martin, as usual. The video adds so much to the song, well done to whoever paired them together. ✔👍💯
beautiful song
A fantastic song from Eric Payne, beautifully sung by Martyn, and a simply gorgeous video which I keep coming back to!
I have the Album Martyn, but love to watch this video, it is so nostalgic. I can remember horses from my childhood, I am close to being 80, years old. Makes me dream of days gone by, they weren't all bad.
Is such in past being held strong here? So true, that it is. Sadly missed, the sounds of snorts and frosty steam, life in the creaks of leather are but pictures now in a frame with collars and blinkers on walls, but inside, to remember a lovely era dearly. Bring back the greedyless harness. Very nice, well done👍🐾
Wonderful lyrics because they create that image in my mind. It was a privilege to meet you and Iris in France a long time ago now. As always beautifully rendered Martyn.
A fine song sung by one of my all time favourite singers Jerry Jordan
Another great song from the master!
Nearly as good as Whitby Harbour Stan, hope this finds you well.
Beautiful, just beautiful. A song that captures something almost lost so thank you Eric and Martyn for helping preserve a piece of our heritage.
Another nostalgic journey in time, taking us right back there. Thanks Martyn
Beautiful song. Thank you.
