- What do you do when the fire in your heart goes out?
I attempted a solo motorcycle road trip in Australia to find some dirt, sand, surf, natural beauty and danger, and I got it all.
Crossing the Nullarbor was truly a sight to behold.

Great trip mate, I have same vstrom even same colour. Great touring bike. Look forward to next part of your trip.
Oh nice, whereabouts are you from?
What an amazing trip mate. Great to see you had a wonderful time. A few friends and I will be going through the Nullarbor Plain in a couple of months as well. This video made me look forward to it even more 🙂
Great effort, you undersold how difficult it is riding such long distances. 👍
Thank you! I suspect that having some physical strength helps in these sorts of trips
My experience is similar to yours. In 2019, I came here to pursue my degree. I haven't completed and succeeded in all of my life's goals.
I've been considering taking a motorcycle tour of Australia. You know, I want to finish this settled down and be married. I'm not sure if I'll do the entire Australia tour in the Honda CB500, but it may be the next year or when I finish my studies.
I have so far bought and sold the Duke 200, R3, Ninja 650, and MT07. I've test-ridden a CB500, and I think this would be good for longer journeys. So yeah, that's my goal; I'm not sure if I'll follow through with it, but I'll attempt to do it in the next two years. 😅
Thank you for sharing the video.👍🏾
It helps having a slightly bigger and longer bike when it comes to carrying packed items and tools. Super useful especially if you do not have panniers. If you love bikes and touring, you should cross Australia at least once in your life! It is amazing
Epic journey mate!
Thank you, you aussies are blessed with so much natural beauty!
Love it!!

That's amazing.
I won't lie - its a physically demanding trip, but in return you get amazing memories. try it yourself!
How u doing?. Adventure. ogrgeous recording.
I'm about to do the same. Can you pls share more details especially the cost for fuel and maybe some tips to tent safely? And would gas tank is enough to reach gas station or do you need to carry extra fuels just in case?
Sorry for the late reply: check out fuelly.com for crowd sourced motorcycle fuel economy ratings. I got around 24 km per litre because I am quite light on the throttle generally speaking. This V Strom has a 20 litre tank that could easily bridge between petrol stops, but I brought along a 5 litre spare jerry can just in case.
For tents: I would always recommend using long tent pegs(more than 25cm long is great), and putting them into the ground at a 10-15° angle.
@@twowheelsojourner1298 thank you so much
