I bought one of those HSS bolt shrouds and had it sent to Norway. Fits perfectly and looks so much better than the horrible plastic one. Would definitely recommend it to others!
i just bought and fitted the bolt handle and shroud and a clamp on muzzle brake and im very impressed. The bolt handle did require a little bit of convincing to fit but other than that very happy with the product...
Im not saying they are a bad rifle, from what i see they seem to be a great rifle. ive never field stipped one before is all and was wanting to know if there is plastic parts in the mechanical parts like the trigger. Im not against the plastic and think it has its place and also has its place where it shouldnt be used. I have read several articles sayibg the bolt shroud breaks. there is a metal alternative so no big deal
I just ordered a stainless steel shroud and bedding kit from Lumley Arms. The bedding kits includes a grade 2 titanium recoil lug, stainless steel pillars and 2 stainless steel action bolts. Anyone have an experience with these Lumley Parts?
other than a plastic shroud and the stock being synthetic how much other plastic parts are one these tikkas?? Ive heard they have a lot of plastic and i took it as te trigger parts dnd internals were made mostly plastic. Does anyone have a vid of a complete feld strip to see? i hear god things about tikka but want to know its downfalls before buying
Love it. Browning x-bolt designers could learn a lesson
