How to Take Great Photos of Cats with your iPhone

One of the questions I get asked the most on social media is how do I take such good photos of the kittens I foster? I decided to put this tutorial together to help others understand how I take my photos and how you can take better photos too! All of my photos and videos are taken on an iPhone 11 Max Pro.
While I do not normally use an external source of light for photos, if you are fostering in bathrooms or rooms without great light, here are some options of lights to use:

I do recommend having a tripod on hand for your phone if your photos are coming out blurry. I do not normally use a tripod because I want to be able to move to different angles quickly. You can find a tripod for your iPhone here:
