- Master genius Evan Perry submitted another untested projectile design to us. They look like little trash cans. We test them with and without spin stability and film them with a high speed camera.

Between Greg's hilarious jokes/antics and Jeff's awesome cinematic shots......you cannot go wrong clicking lol. Such a good channel
Comedy gold! Never change
If that ain't the truth!
Your channel is waaaay better bro! Your cat is awesome! and the moth he talking to is such a rascal
Don't forget the great info on loading some great shotty slugs.. I Trust Jeff's Soyence.
And his great English accent - I thought he had hired a Limey guest presenter at first.... possibly ;-) hugs from the UK of GB 🙂
"Now you can spin stabilize a turd..." Prepare for some interesting slug submissions, Jeff.
probably some frozen turd slug
Looking forward to the next taofladermaus clip..lol
Will it be a polished turd?
They did manage to polish one.
I was going to submit my design, but regardless of how I engineered it, the design was shitty to the core.
I'm mounting one up in my home made lathe as we speak. :)
:::sips coffee::
Jeff and og are easily the best/funniest guys on RUclips. Guys please never change and keep up with the amazing work
"Gaping Bear Holes... little dance troupe I'm putting together."
O.G., I have never wanted to see a show less.
I know you’ve already bought tickets. Front row nonetheless.
Yes the flying dust bin was a round that was designed specifically for reducing reinforced concrete emplacements and heavy steel bunker doors. It was essentially a large canister of explosive fired from a tank.
Apparently it was incredibly effective.
Yea, a big stubby mortar instead of a regular tank gun, hilarious looking, but effective. 11.5 inch bore, 28 lbs projectile.. BOOOM!
And it was a muzzle loader so the guys manning it had to be ballsy asf to pop out and reload every time 😂
Heya scrappy doo! Good to see ya here!
@@Oldmanwithagoldpan likewise 👍
@@brett567 I can see them turning the turret around so the poor sod has cover lol
You guys are awesome! Evan has the touch for making unusual slugs. Great job guys! :)
thanks Gordon!!
That long range shot looked cool. It was interesting to see how much it moved around and changed trajectory.
It was a wild ride!
The shotgun has taught me something very important, the strangest shapes and sizes fly incredibly well, kind of like the old F-4 phantom.. because even a break will fly if you put enough engine under it
Or at the very least it'll do a really cool flip!
Popped it open like a Russian tank . 🤣 OG you are hilarious
“You can spin stabilize a turd and make it fly stable.”
Well, you have to put that to the test now?
I vote for it to be Gregg's turds, just so that we can joke about Jeff having to handle his shit!
However, clearly someone must have a cat, so that might be a better option, since they'll be dried and Gregg won't have to bob for apples
make sure it's polished
How ya think they go down the drain so well?
Time to get out the liquid nitrogen.
Do they have a bore big enough to use?
It's really cool to hear about the loading process. Would love to see that info more often.
Showing how to reload ammunition goes against RUclipss terms of services.
@@tylermallory2504 yep.. I'm amazed my only vid hasn't been struck lol
you can check out Taofledermaus' older videos to see that process, unfortunately RUclips doesnt allow it to be shown on video anymore
Also go look at Bubba Roundtree outdoors and Tyler McDavid
Another fine show. Thanks gentlemen. 🏴👍🏻😃🏴
thank you Charles
These videos always make me laugh, thanks for making content here on RUclips
I come for the controlled explosions. I stay for the banter. As always, awesome video, guys. 🤙🏾
thanks! ! !
Interesting how the Christmas bucket guided the mud into a Christmas tree pattern. 9:26
Really enjoy watching as always. Greg is hilarious some day's. 😆
Thanks Jeff and Greg. Always look forward to your projectile podcasts. I almost did a 'spit check' with my coffee when Greg said "Gaping Bear Holes, a little dance troop..."
lol thank you Randy
Just want to say thank you from Iowa. I've enjoyed all your videos for the last 3yrs now.
Thanks for watching, Brant. 😎👍
Glad you like them!
“Flying Dustbin” comes from the Churchill AVRE (Armored Vehicle, Royal Engineers.) It shot a very large spigot-mortar-type projectile, mainly meant for obstacles such as bunkers, pillboxes, MG nests and defilade/dirt embankments. Apparently, it’s so useful for it’s explosive charge that it was used even in the Centurion AVRE against the Iraqis in 1991.
Edit: *It’s a 165mm gun with an explosive charge of 64 pounds*
Evan has worked some sort of ballistic magic with these. Thanks for the video, Jeff and OG!
Thanks :D
I flipping love your shirt, OG! I have one that reads:
SARCASM
Another Skill I Have Mastered
Love from your neighbors to the east, Arizona!
Thanks for watching, Benson. 😎👍
As soon as I saw the shape I knew you were going to say by Evan. I have to admit they (usually) always perform really well.
Great video as always guys, good job on fabrication Evan, hope everyone is staying safe and taking care.
Loved the popsicle stick! Reminded me of when the Slow Mo Guys had the pyrex shattering next to a shot of water entering Dan’s eye. I wish more people used other references in high-speed footage. Another great video, Jeff!
thanks!
OG's T shirt is a perfect fit for this video because the sarcasm is strong with this one.
Your timing is impeccable! Some TFM content is just what I needed to start my day... Thanks!
thank you!
You know, Danny would have missed that mark by half what OG just did. That was a hug Greg
Greg is such a smartazz I love yaws content keep up the good work.
thank you!
The original 'Flying Dustbin' was the Petard spigot mortar it was designed to destroy roadblocks, bunkers, pillboxes and other concrete, brick or earthen obstacles, and proved to be quite effective in breaking through these defences, Most effective at a range of about 80 yards the Petard fired a 26 pound finned charge within an outer casing, giving a total weight of 40 pounds.
Great video guys, and great performing projectile!
Thanks :D
Huh. That was REALLY COOL, seeing the comparison to the popsicle stick. 👍👍👍
Great content guys. You two are the Statler and Waldorf of the gun channels. 🔫 🤣
Great fun, guys! Hats off to Evan, too. That guy's something of a ballistic wizard.
thanks guys I appreciate the video I was having a bad day and then I saw Greg miss the last shot with the last slug and joy! the smile returned to my face and once again the world made sense thanks guys for the great video
"Sarcasm is how I hug"
I need that shirt
evan is a ballistics genius, allways impressed.
Thanks :D
The banter between you two is as much fun as the videography.
Perry's a mad genius makes the coolest rounds.
Thanks :D
Officer Greg’s shirt is so BEAUTIFUL
There... My hug from me to you.
Evan makes another wonder slug! You guys need to bring him on the channel to do some shooting!!!
Nothing like a good bit o' "Huggin" from the O.G.
😂👍😜
I'm surprised youtube allows you to show as much detail of how you construct the rounds as you do. How do you know where the line is?
With lots of trial and error on their part, as well as RUclips ever-changing guidelines, it comes down to a bit of luck to stay monetizeable and sending it in the most educational way they can muster.
Jeff and OG are awesome! Love you guys. 👍👍👍
I like that you dont shoot watermelons. I dont care how awesome they are as a reactive target, those things are too dog gone good tasting to waste shooting them
Jeff, O.G. Great Friday night download! Cool suprise! THANK YOU!! 👍🏻🇺🇲🤘🏻. FULL RIFLE? WTF? LOL
Great video! I really appreciate OG's hugs and your camera work, Jeff. Oh, and you're a damn fine curator of folks future shell fodder 👍
thank you
You Two Guys Crack Me Up!! Great Content, And Great Photography!! Thanks Fellas!! Later
Ok, now I want to see a skit with a bagpipe. I love bagpipes.
There have been several grounded down clowns in your breakfast 🤣 top notch again and the whacky humor is killing it. Again! 🤣
Evan Perry is a genius. Looks like another fun video!
It's Good to be Back, OG & JEFF!
ifm efector makes some of the worlds best monitoring equipment! Discovered them in the early 2000's and saw their equipment hold up for over 15 years under the most brutal conditions! Very impressive stuff.
Can't wait to see Gaping Bear Holes in action.
Gregg is a great launch operator!
"That was back when videos were made of wood." Classic OG gold.
Evan has had at least 6 different designs and all besides one was fantastic and even the one was acceptable 4 out of 5 times
I would say closer to 30 designs ;)
"Next up on Turdfledermaus we spin stabilize a frozen dooker."
That bucket came straight from Big John's port-o rental, fertilizer, and spa supplies.
Evan usually comes up with some really neat ideas and I don't recall but a couple that didn't do great but still decent. Slug Whisperer 😂😂
Thanks, some of my early slugs didn't do so well.
@@TheRhinestoneHurricane well you have done some great work on all of your latest so keep up the great work!🤠👍🏼
@@alexsparks5596 Thanks ☺️
Greg, love your show! Thanks
Thanks for watching, Kenneth.
Lol he’s right about the phone. I can guarantee most of us watch from our phones. Good video guys!!
Studies show 85% of RUclips viewers watch on phones.
I'm missing the California ballistics. OG shoots too well! 🤣🤣
Seeing the slug change direction as it did its hokey pokey wiggle waggle was amazing! It looked like the back of the slug was wiggle waggling and bouncing off the shockwave from the front of the slug. Very cool, thanks!
thanks Ryan!
OG finger bangs everything he shoots 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You two Always do such good work thanks bud keep it coming
OG's demo of the Mississippi mud had him looking like one of the veterinarians that came around once a year to check our cattle... Retirement career change?
New application for the patented OG finger wiggle?
Good to see a video from you guys tonight
Chekov's "skit with bagpipes." LMAO
Unicycle! That's a great idea thanks Gregg. Shoot from a unicycle while playing the bagpipes.
My fascination with guns has always been about science... physics. This is really the only channel that closely examines that science.
Hey Jeff I really liked the detailed explanation you did in the beginning. Props to Evan for another interesting creation, I always look forward to what he comes up with next
Amazed at how much apparent energy those things imparted to the chosen media. The "redneck ballistic gel" (mud in a bucket) was a hoott.
With that red in there it looks like a little tube of lipstick and left a nice little kiss mark.
OG’s t-shirt is great. It matches his attitude.
I’m usually blowing mud each time I watch these videos. Awesome way to start the day.
I am interested in joining the dance club "Dancing Bear Wholes". Hahah. Also know a little tap
I wished that evan mass produced his rounds. I know we would all buy them. I know I would
Love Greg's shirt. That is my motto.
Wow guys the exploding certified t-rex turd bucket was better than a unicorn fart. Great vid 👍
OG T-shirt makes me want to give Him a hug.
it brightens my day to watch and hear you guys bantering in these videos! Thanks!
Great T-Shirt !
"Spin stabilize a turd." I dare you. I double dare you. I triple dog dare you!
You would probably have to freeze them first though.
Fossilized dino turds?
Good as always, Greg is a real comedian.
thanks
That shirt is amazing, and I'm sure fairly accurate. You rock OG.
Thanks Herbert! 🤟😎
Larry and Mo. Love the content. Even if they don't spin I bet they would hurt like hell :)
Love the shirt caption, OG. I need one of those!
Well hokey pokey flying Fokey 🤣...Gregg gets turn on with the gummy bear glory 🕳 deal very odd lol😋 lol...Even comes with great stuff to shoot out of a shotgun.....Thanks Jeff & Gregg👀🙏👍
Come on now, you know we all love the banter between yall!
I love that shirt, Greg!
I’ve been watching this channel for so long , great content. Rip Danny.
I do still watch ole nutnfancy from time to time. Hes kinda goofy sometimes but he's got some good philosophy on stuff. Thank you guys for everything.
9:33... Did I just hear the Planet Buster sound effect from Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri..!? I was playing the game AT THE SAME TIME. A transcendent moment.
This was fun and informative! Interesting slug design.
Thanks ☺️
The mud was one of your best targets to date
Thank you for the video! ☺♥
I liked the video. Note to self, Have an extra Barney round so you never miss the happy ending! Enjoy and lots of love.
I can’t stop watching your videos. Great job guys!
thanks Matt
Epic job, and Clownifornia 😂
Evan, turning trash into tactical trash! The Rhinestone Hurricane: Watch it now.
Greg, I'm still watching YT on Slow Scan TV. So slow, I can see the future.
Haven't I seen you before :P
@@TheRhinestoneHurricane Nah, I'm a my own invisible imaginary friend.
4:37 damn it, greg!!
